Foxton is a town in the Manawatu-Wanganui region of New Zealand. It is located on the lower west coast of the North Island, in the Horowhenua district, 30 km southwest of Palmerston North and 15 km north of Levin. The town is located close to the banks of the Manawatu River. ( Credits to Wikipedia)
Foxton Spring Fling is usually celebrated once a year on spring season and during labor weekend as well. A lot of people from neighboring towns are coming to see this very anticipated event. I hope you enjoy this video guys:)

Foxton Beach to the beach lagoon around the point
This is a short vid showing the beach trip along Foxton Beach around the point to the lagoon. The lagoon is great in a blustery NW as you get a fair bit of shelter and quite reasonable fishing. The lagoon is only about 5 - 10 minutes walk from the camp ground so it makes it an ideal place to go.
