ทริปนี้เราขับรถจากเมืองบริสตอล (Bristol) ไปทางตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ 21 กิโลเมตร เพื่อไปเมืองบาธ (Bath) เมืองประวัติศาสตร์แห่งยุคโรมัน ที่ยังคงความสวยงาม เป็นเมืองมรดกโลก ซึ่งได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนจากองค์กร UNESCO
ตัวเมืองบาธตั้งอยู่ในหุบเขาของแม่น้ำเอวอน เคยเป็นตั้งถิ่นฐานของชาวโรมัน ผู้สร้างโรงอาบน้ำโรมัน (Roman Bath) ติดกับมหาวิหารบาธ (Bath Abbey) เป็นเมืองที่ Mary Shelley เคยแต่งนวนิยาย FRANKENSTEIN มีโรงละคร, พิพิธภัณฑ์ ย่านการค้า ช็อปปิ้ง เป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยวอย่างแท้จริง
เราไปทริปสั้นๆ วันเดียวจบ จึงเก็บสถานที่สำคัญพอประมาณ (เน้นถ่ายรูปมากกว่า) เช่น ตึกรอยัลเครสเซนต์ (Royal Crescent) และ (The Circus) ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มอาคารรูปพระจันทร์เสี้ยว ที่ใหญ่โตและสวยงามเอามากๆ เดินชมสะพานข้ามแม่น้ำเอวอน (Pulteney Bridge) เป็นสะพานเก่าแก่และสวยงาม ซึ่งปัจจุบันทำเป็นคาเฟ่ ร้านน่ารัก หลายๆ ร้านติดๆ กัน
เป็นเมืองที่เดินวันหนึ่งวันก็รอบแล้ว เมืองทั้งเมืองเป็นเมืองเก่า ถ่ายรูปตรงไหนก็สวยงามได้บรรยากาศความเก่าแก่แบบในยุคโรมัน เหมือนเราได้เข้าไปอยู่หนังยุคโบราณเลยทีเดียว
