What a way to catch my first Barra - on my 7th Cast! Unbelievable. We fished Lake Monduran on Friday 31st May, Sat 1st June and Sun 2nd June!

None of us have ever fished Lake Monduran before but I researched and had a conversation with almost everyone who had! I managed to get my hands on information that helped me succeed in Lake Monduran - which I will share!

Everyone caught a Barramundi on this trip and everyone had a great time. I have seen every YouTube Lake Monduran Video and my aim was to deliver a video that was more informative and engaging to help people who are like me - keen fisho's who like to research!

Lake Monduran Fishing Trip | 95cm Barramundi

A few days staying on the houseboat at Lake Monduran.
Boated two Barra, one 95cm and one 60cm, and spent the rest of the time kneeboarding and exploring the lake.

Timmy Turtle had a hot session jigging vibes amongst vertical timber in Monduran Dam. Using DownScan on his Elite Ti2, Timmy was able to watch the fish move through, and drop his lure on their noses!

Kinkuna Beach camping area - Burrum Coast National Park, QLD

The Kinkuna Beach camping area in the Burrum Coast National Park is situated behind the dunes of the beach with just a short walk to the water. There are 40 undesignated sites however there are no facilities. Fires are permitted. The road into the camping area is sandy and it is recommended for high clearance 4WD vehicles only.
