Fremantle, or 'Freo' as the locals affectionately call it, is a port city (now part of the Perth metro) 18 km from Perth CBD. The first port of call in the Swan River colony, it boasts one of the best preserved colonial era townscape in Australia, with many buildings from the Roundhouse (built in 1830, oldest remaining building in WA), Fremantle Prison, Lunatic Asylum (now Arts Centre), Town Hall, and many others. The video includes the Esplanade/Fishing Boat Harbour, Bather's beach, the port, the Roundhouse/West End, High Street and various others, South Terrace, the town hall, Markets, Fremantle Oval, Prison, War Memorial, and a few residential streets.
