It is a nice place for snorkeling and diving. I saw some manatees, stingrays, sharks, and a lot of colorful fishes. Beautiful.
When i was at caye caulker, THE lobster fest was celebrated at the island.
It was THEEE Lobster fest.
Everywhere on the streets you could see lobsters :-)

Exploring Caye Caulker by Land and Sea (27)
Welcome to Caye Caulker!
You'll be glad you came. We were! Because our time was limited we spent two days traveling and only one full day in Caye Caulker......and we would do it again. We were absolutely charmed by this little island and all it has to offer.
We rented an apartment for two nights through If you've never used Airbnb, what are you waiting for?
For breakfast we checked out Errolyn's House of Fryjacks on Middle Street. If you're not familiar with a fryjack, it's a pizza pocket, doughnut, and burrito all rolled into one. It cost USD $1.50 each.
We enjoyed our coffee from Amor Y Cafe on Front Street. An espresso cost USD $2.25.
For our half day of snorkeling we booked with French Angel Expedition. It cost USD $65/person for a five hour tour to see many species of coral, fish, rays, some nurse sharks, a manatee, and two types of sea turtles (Green and Loggerhead).
The Belize Barrier Reef is a short boat ride from the island and it is the second largest barrier reef in the world. Our snorkel tour of reef took us about 45 minutes and our guide named all the species of coral and fish that he could find. Our guide was excellent and his two sons were very entertaining.
We had dinner at Maggie's Sunset Kitchen. It cost us USD $15/person and that included drinks and tip. We were very happy with our meals.
There is definitely no shortage of amazing restaurants that serve Caribbean style cuisine. Keep in mind that U.S. dollars are widely accepted on the island so there is no need to change your money before you arrive. It is also common to have your servers give you change in both U.S. and Belize dollars.
Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks for watching!
