Frenchman's Cove is a private beach (12 USD admission) in the parish of Portland, Jamaica, with a lot of rules. No eating, no drinking, no smoking and no topless games. The park leading to and surrounding the beach is beautiful, super clean and very well designed and maintained. The water is Caribbean clear and the turtles love this place. We did not. Mainly white crowd. Not many or no locals. Not too much fun either. But beautiful. And clean.

DRY LAND TOURIST EPISODE 1: FRENCHMAN'S COVE
Hey guys! On the first episode of Dry Land Tourist, we went to Frenchman's Cove in the beautiful parish of Portland. The journey from Kingston was about 3 hrs long but the beautiful scenery, good company and great music made time fly. We gave Frenchman's Cove a 9/10, the place was beautiful and well kept, it was very affordable and the food was good.

My first glimpse of Frenchman's Cove.

The Jamaica family vacation is still in Portland, we will visit Frenchman Cove, the famous beach before we head back to Montego Bay.
Our last day in the Parish if Portland. We are going to take it easy with a day of relaxing at Frenchman Cove.
We arrive early rented our beach chairs and took in the great natural beauty of this great beach. My family and I enjoyed swimming in the rough water (by Jamaican standards). We then of course cooled off in the fresh water river than flows into the beach.
A ton of pictures later and after we lounged on the beach chairs long enough, we packed up and headed back to Montego Bay.
A great relaxing day that you can share with us.
