HOI AN
Locate in the middle of Vietnam, Hoi An ancient town was considered as the world heritage by UNESCO.
During first century, with the name Lam Ap Pho (Champa city), it's the largest harbour in Southeast Asia.
In 16th and 17th, when many Chinese, as well as Japanese, Dutch and Indian settled down, it's call Hai Pho (Seaside town). However, as a result of mis-communication between a local habitant and a Spanish trader around 17th century, when he asked whether this place was Pho (town) and received the answer :Phai! Pho (Yes! Town).
Today, with its ancient and quiet style, Hoi An has attracted a fair number of national and international tourists. In Hoi An, just with some dollars, you can enjoy almost delicious and nutrition foods here. Coming to Hoi An, we can visit many art and craft shops, cafe shops and restaurants with the same characteristic as Hoi An along Thu Bon romantic river. At night, when the town was lighten by thousands of decorative multi-coloured lanterns, walking along short streets, dying in fresh and cool air from Thu Bon river, you will feel peaceful as you never do.

Salah satu lagi destinasi MUST GO di Vietnam, Da Nang. Jadi, jangan tunggu lagi!

I start my trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang city
Time to Visit Da Nang – Hoi An
Da Nang – Hoi An Weather is about the same around 30-35 degree.
The best time to visit Hoi An is from January to April when it is not extremely hot and not raining. During this time Hoi An weather should be sunny and around 30 degree which a lots better than 35.
Trip details of Hoi An Day 2
- 6 AM: I got up early in the moring, Rent a bicycle for $1.50 a day. You can find this anywhere around Hoi An. Riding around Hoi An is one of the best things to do in Hoi An that you absolutely want to add into your Hoi An must do list.
- 7 AM: Get a Viets Sub at Bánh Mì Phượng which is one of my recommended vietnamese food, Hoi An restaurants that you don’t wanna miss. $1
- 7:30 AM: I found a spot near Chùa Cầu bridge that I can sit down, eat my Banh Mì and order a cold coconut. $1
Then I took some pictures with the Chùa Cầu which is an iconic of Vietnam as it is printed on the 20k VND
-8:30 AM: Go to get some drink as it is way too hot on that day. It is in June and Hoi An weather was close to 40 degree. I chose Faifo Café for their amazing reviews on Social media. But what I found the drink was okay. Their view of the Hoi An lanterns city is what worth the money paid $5
- 9:00 AM: I biked down the Thu Bon river to go to the market which I could take the boat to the coconut forest “rừng dừa 7 mẫu Hội An” for $10.

VIETNAM SERIES: Hanoi Travel Guide | #SOFCOTRAVELS
Hey there, love! Tune in to my newest travel guide episodes: THE VIETNAM SERIES :)
=================
Visiting Vietnam was definitely one of my most unforgettable travel experiences. It was a breath of fresh air – quite exhilarating for someone who is still recovering from a heartbreak (yes, I have just resigned from my first job as a ballet dancer, and yes, I was in the process of getting back together with my now-boyfriend). Seeing a new environment had changed my current outlook on life, that everything is not permanent. People change, things change. The world is always in the process of “moving on” and “going forward”. The memories we leave behind dictate where we go next.
The best part of this trip is learning about another city’s beautiful and colorful history that made it feel like it came right out from a fairytale or a storybook. Completely breathtaking! In this video, walk with me as I intake the busy streets of Hanoi – from the paths encircling the famous Hoan Kiem Lake, the mesmerizing and solemnity of the surrounding temples and pagodas, and the scents of freshly-made meals cooked by friendly locals.
PS - I am using my mobile data to upload this video, so every second counts! Watch til the end! ;)

Secluded Beaches on Cu Lao Cham Island | Cham Island Day 2
We got not one but two beaches to ourselves on Cu Lao Cham Island! Because most visitors travel to Cu Lao Cham Island on day tours from Hoi An, there are usually little to no beachgoers after 1pm. The island, as well as the beaches, empties.
Beaches we visited:
- Bãi Chồng |
- Bãi Xếp |

Spring rolls hoi an - Vietnam tour & travel
Vietnam food - Vietnam tour & travel
A highlight of any trip to Vietnam, Hoi An is a town oozing charm and history, having largely escaped the destruction of successive wars. Once a sleepy riverside village, it's now quite definitely a tourist town -- with hotels, restaurants, bars, tailors and souvenir shops dominating the old centre. Despite this air of irreality, Hoi An's charisma pervades.

I visited Hanoi again after my first trip back in 2013. In this video I want to introduce to you a local beer called beer hoi that is sold across Hanoi. It's fresh, it's cheap it's a fun and silly way to spend an afternoon or a night.
Also, it's a beer that is cheaper than water. If you've never been to Hanoi you'll be quit surprised to learn this fun cultural aspects of this city.

Da Nang Highlight Reel | Hoi An | Ba Na Hills
This video is a look into our 4 day trip to Da Nang. The beaches in this place were painted in palm trees rubbing up against the beach sand, the air was so fresh and man did we have ourselves a good time. This place was a scene out of our wildest dreams and was a stark contrast to Hanoi with way less traffic, clear blue skies and of course the beach, which was at our disposal at all times because of where we decided to stay.
