Flying QATAR AIRWAYS to Armenia - The BEST ECONOMY CLASS in the WORLD! Miami to Yerevan
In late September of 2019, I set off to my 75th country, Armenia. Then, after 10 days in Armenia, I’d have a 48-hour layover in Kuwait! Come along with me as I review Qatar Airways, who have the best economy class in the world, as I travel from Miami to Yerevan!
I started off my adventure at Miami International Airport, which has pretty much become my second home! I had a 21-hour travel day ahead of me!
First, I had to get to Terminal E and Gate E23. I boarded my flight and took off in our Airbus 350. It has a 3-3-3 configuration and amazing TVs. They have infinite entertainment and a lot of legroom! They also give you a packet containing an eye mask, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and socks. You also get a blanket!
On Qatar Airways you also get a menu with dinner, brunch, and drinks. If you travel Economy Class, get a seat in the back because they serve the back first, so there’s less chance of the thing you want being sold out. My friend has Gold Priority with Qatar Airways, so they serve him first!
I ordered the chicken biryani. It was really good and different, and a little crispy. It was delicious! I loved the crispy onions on top and the raisins added a sweetness. It also came with chickpeas, which also contained onions and red peppers. Qatar Airways always has quality food!
I had a cognac and talked with my new friend for a while. They had all 23 MCU movies, but I went with Men In Black International and then slept for 7 hours. We were 2 hours from Doha. I had some coffee and paneer bhurji with rice and vegetables for breakfast. It was so fire! I also had orange juice and a Kit Kat bar.
I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth before we landed. The flight was perfect and had no turbulence. In the Doha airport, I wanted to get into the Business Class lounge. My buddy was able to bring a guest with him, so he took me! This was the second-best lounge there. It costs $69 for six hours there. It had a nice, open space and three areas where you can relax, eat, sleep, and do work. They have unlimited food and drinks. You can even take a shower!
I got some tabbouleh, hummus, and chicken salad. The chicken was minced and the vegetables were very refreshing. I love tabbouleh! I mixed it with the hummus, which was so good! I also had some great red wine with it. The service was amazing!
This was a longer layover at 4 hours. With 20 minutes until I had to board, I passed the famous teddy bear lamp to my gate. It was super humid in Qatar. I wished I was flying business class. It looked epic!
We flew on an Airbus A320 with a 3-3 configuration. This flight also had every MCU movie onboard! My new friend from Armenia had only seen one MCU film!
For dinner, I ordered lamb stew with mashed potatoes, peas, and carrots. The lamb was so buttery and creamy! The mashed potatoes were also really creamy and tasty. There was also a refreshing potato salad with onion and corn. I loved it! My friend let me try her dish, which was the Qatari version of biryani. It was amazing! I loved the spices and chicken!
Then, we landed in Armenia after a smooth, 3-hour flight. I grabbed my bags and met my driver. I went straight to an ATM and pulled out cash. It’s the best way to get the best exchange rate. I pulled out $200 worth of Armenian Dram, but I could use credit cards anywhere in the country.
As we drove to the hotel, we passed a huge bottle of wine by the road. I was super excited, but it was 1:30 in the morning. I couldn’t wait to start exploring tomorrow!
I hope you enjoyed flying Qatar Airways to Armenia with me and seeing the best Economy Class in the world! If you did, please give this video a thumbs up and leave a comment below. Also, please subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don’t miss any of my upcoming travel/food adventures!

Gay Armenian Man Comes Out to Father in Emotional Video - Dad, I'm Gay
Jose, an Armenian gay man comes out to his father in an emotional video that will leave you in tears. With just 3 words, dad, I'm gay, this gay Armenian man comes out to his family and the whole world.
Growing up in a traditional Armenian family, Jose was exposed to homophobia at the hands of his own family on a regular basis. Feeling closeted and shunned, he immigrated to Canada and finally lived openly as a proud gay man. Years later, he gathered the strength to come out to his mother in an explosive confrontation during a family vacation but regrettably he did not come out to the rest of his family - including his father - until now. In a tearful message directly to his father, Jose finally comes out to his father and the rest of the world with this powerful video. His goal now is to improve the lives of all LGBTQ+ Armenian youth by sharing his personal story.
PinkPlanet: A Global Search for Gay Culture explores LGBTQ+ life all over the world to better understand the homosexual experience globally. From stories of trans life in Bangkok to words of wisdom from a 90 year-old gay pioneer, PinkPlanet aims to entertain, educate and empower the global gay community through a panoramic view of our shared experiences and stories.

If your dad was on the other side of this lens right now what would you say?
Hi Dad that this is your son this is little Jose and he loves you so much and he's crying internally to let you know that I'm gay. I'm gay I like men and I have a boyfriend I have a beautiful boyfriend he love me so much which I want you I need you I need you to be a
part of my life that's all.
I realized that I was gay in elementary school at a very early age. I was feeling very insecure. Venezuela is a very Catholic country being gay it was not very accepted in the society and being gay within my Armenian family was harsh. To sit with my family in the same
table having a supper or having a lunch and listening to your parents commenting the
most horrendous things about gays. It was so hurtful for me. Being raised in such a negative
environment it's very hard especially whenever you were young you cannot
identify yourself you cannot find identity you cannot like explore all
your options and you need to be so concerned on the fact of not being
discovered and not being recognized as a gay you need to hide all your traces you
need to go to underground places that are in far areas and you need to
basically hide all your track for your mom to not know your friends and to not
know where were you hanging out. So I decided to leave my country. 24 years old
I was not prepared to come out to my family I took the map and I choose the
most open country. One of the most open country in the world in regard of
LGBT rights and that was Canada. I decided to come here just to be a gay
individual fully and to be myself, to be protected by a constitution to be
protected by the law and that's amazing.
My family visit me after four years and she asked me she asked me if I liked men while we were in an amazing vacation in Johnson Canyon Alberta. We were staying in the same cabin
and she asked me the question if I like men. I said yes I like men. I like men and I'm gay. She lost it. It was really hard to listen to her. She told me that I was a disgrace of the family. She could never raise her head again because she had a gay son. We had a very very heated argument for about one hour, which I am sure the resort heard by the time that we had a confrontation and we had to leave. We had to leave the cabin. I had to drive and while we were driving, we were arguing. We were arguing and I was a screaming, she was screaming and we couldn't come to an agreement.
After that conversation with my mother I felt empowered because I knew that I did the right thing even that my mom thought it was not the right thing, I felt it that way. Yes I do have regrets that I didn't take that opportunity as a as an advantage to come out to the rest of my
family. I would have loved to use that advantage and tell to all my family that I was gay but I didn't because I was not sure how much the rest of my family was going to receive that.
In a way, when your family sees this video you will be coming out to the rest of your family. Why did you decide to do it now?
For the younger generation. I want every Armenian LGBT individual in the world to understand that it's okay to be Armenian and it's okay to be gay to be lesbian and to be trans and to choose your own path. I wanna really promote inclusion within the Armenian community because it's a very close-minded community towards gays and I want to change that. I want to be heard by all the gay Armenian boys and girls out there in the world and feel identify with me and seek relief through my experience.

Blog Li- Parks of Yerevan
But, what about parks in Yerevan? The parks, where you can lie on a fresh lawn, drying out from the summer rain or parks, where you can simply ride a bike and enjoy your time with friends.
In the very center of the city, the parks are small, and in comparison with the cities of other countries, they are simply miniature. However, I, having visited the central parks of Yerevan, was convinced that it is worth to tell about them and show them as they create charming atmosphere, and some of them simply reveal the culture and history of Armenia.

Armenian Wines: a Delicious Phenomenon
(Armenian-language video. For the English version, visit
Wine bars are all the rage in Yerevan, the world’s oldest capital. The ancestral custom of enjoying wine is making a big comeback.
In 2015, three friends pooled their resources to open Wine Republic, a wine shop and restaurant in the heart of the city, where people could meet, eat fresh seafood, and drink wine. Soon, the restaurant became a hot spot. The young partners expanded the space, the restaurant’s menu, and, most importantly, their wine selection.
Today, Wine Republic offers more than 600 wines from throughout the world, with many Armenian wines shining as top sellers. There are more than 40 wine brands, and over 80 local varietals, in Armenia.
Wine Republic has also become a launching pad for new Armenian wine labels. One such label is Zara Wines, which became a local hit as well as an international sensation right after making its appearance in the wine racks of the restaurant.
Zaruhi Muradyan, the founder of Zara Wines, is one of the co-founders of the Yerevan Wine Academy. Established in 2015, the school is preparing cadres of professional vintners, and is credited with creating renewed nationwide interest in winemaking.
