The Picks of the Edmonton Fringe, produced by Theatre Alberta, Arts Touring Alliance of Alberta (ATAA) and Fringe Theatre Adventures (FTA), is a three-year stimulus project to promote touring theatre in Alberta. Between 2014 and 2017, as many as nine different theatre companies will tour across the province.
Each production has been handpicked from the largest fringe theatre festival in North America by a jury of rural presenters. With short technical set up and set assembly times, fringe shows are ideal for touring. And, all of our ‘Picks‘ feature Albertan theatre artists.
The first year of this project (2014/2015) is supported by a grant from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA)
