SJI Seniors batch 2017 goes to Taiwan for an educational field trip. Went to popular tourist spots and theme parks. Their street food were amazing! Found cheaper clothes & shoes than in the Philippines. There was air-conditioner everywhere in Taiwan since it's still winter season. Our overall trip was full of excitement! Thank you to our host: The Fu Jen University students :) Thank you for having us. I will surely miss all of you. Til next time!

Temple near Songshan in Taipei, Taiwan
A beautiful temple in Songshan right next to the Raohe night market in Taipei. I've never been one to enjoy eastern religion or temples very much, but this place was particularly breathtaking.

Checheng Village
This video was filmed on my mobile phone - Vicki's taken my decent camera to Spain with her!
Went back to to Shuili again today. One advantage of a long weekend is that I can go places when it's quiet. The last time I went to the Checheng Village, it was really crowded. Today, the car parks were empty, and there were very few people. A very relaxed visit.
Yen Szu Hsu (Sophia) and I walked up to village, and came back by train. Everything was so relaxed - the ticket office at Checheng was closed, and no-one could be bothered to take our fare at Shuili. A lovely afternoon.

the train rides were fantastic. mashing together the modern hsr and the classic ones all in a day. the station featured in this video is one of the great scenic and peaceful places in taiwan i visited during my recent backpacking trip there.
