japan – tokyo, odawara and hakone | fabs goes asia, part 6
Dear viewer, this is part 6 of the fabs goes asia series. In this video you’ll be going to a sumo wrestling training in Tokyo, take the highspeed train called Shinkansen from Tokyo to Odawara and from there to the hiking area of Hakone. You’ll take a walk through the Odawara Castle and its beautiful Gardens, see the colorful red blood maple tree and – maybe – you will be able to smell the salty air and feel the soft breeze of the pacific ocean, like we did. We found a tsunami safety construction to secure all buildings along the coastline. Amazing and thought provoking sight. It was our plan to arrive at Hakone in the evening, move into our hostel and have dinner somewhere. In the end it all worked out. We even saw a Shinto procession with a beautiful altar being carried by at least 10 people. (Watch the movie ’til the very end to see that yourself ;) We had a super delicious korean dinner with all kind of tasty bits and a korean whisky to finish our travel day.
Can’t wait to share the next video with you. I hope you like this one enough to tune in for the next one.
Enjoy, F.
