TOKYO WINTER TRIP - January 2018 | Travel Vlog PART 2 (Gala Yuzawa, Tokyo Tower, Meiji Jingu Shrine)

Hi! This is our part 2 video of 3 videos we made from our last winter trip to Japan.
We took shinkasen straight to Gala Yuzawa to see a breathtaking view of snow and mountain.
And also you can play snowboard and ski, because Gala Yuzawa is known as the most beautiful snow resort in Japan, and it is only 75 minutes away from Tokyo Station.
We also went to, Shibuya, Harajuku, Meiji Jingu Shrine and Yoyogi park by the train, and cross Tokyo Tower off of our bucket list, and went up to the highest floor of the tower to see Tokyo night view.

What to see in Odaiba - New Years Eve | #LizaTravels

We spent our New Year’s eve at Odaiba.

Accessed via the Rainbow Bridge or the futuristic Yurikamome train, Odaiba is a high-tech entertainment hub on an artificial island in Tokyo Bay. Visitors head to the beach at Seaside Park, enjoy Mt. Fuji views from the Daikanransha Ferris wheel, and interact with robots at the Miraikan science museum. Malls include Aqua City and the Venice-themed VenusFort, and there are sushi bars with views along the waterfront.

There are still so many places and things to do at Odaiba that I haven’t covered.

I hope you enjoyed and had some idea on what Odaiba looks like.

I'm in Shizuoka, Japan - visiting Tamiya HQ tomorrow!

My model nerd pilgrimage is just beginning! After a ten hour flight from Australia yesterday, and a Bullet Train from Tokyo today, I'm finally in Shizuoka, the home of scale models in Japan. I expected a small regional city; instead, it is a metropolis! More to come tomorrow guys, I'm excited!

Japanese Dinosaurs Fight in Fukui!

Long before Godzilla rampaged through downtown Tokyo, there were giant dinosaurs tearing up the countryside which was still attached to the Asian continent at that time.

In Fukui City they have animatronic dinosaurs fighting in front of Fukui Station. Three robotic dinosaurs are on display representing sauropods, ornithopods, and tyrannosauroids which lived during the Early Cretaceous Period (146-100 million years ago) and were discovered in Fukui Prefecture.

Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space (東京芸術劇場 Tōkyō Geijutsu Gekijō) is a centre for the performing arts located in Ikebukuro, Toshima, Tokyo, Japan. It opened in 1990 and is operated by Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture.There is a concert hall with 1999 seats and a theatre with 841 seats as well as a number of smaller spaces. Yoshinobu Ashihara was the architect, with acoustical design by Nagata Acoustics.
