One Hundred Thirty-Fifth Episode: The Fukuoka Children's Science Museum in Kurume
Always a great place to take your kids, we recently went to the Children's Science Museum in Kurume, for the I have no idea-th time. One thing I forgot to mention in the actual video is that the museum is not just a great place to take your kids for a fun and educational experience, it's also really cheap! :)

To get to Kurume had to take a train for 30 minutes from Hakata Station the main railway station in Fukuoka. Its undergoing renovation and swarms with people as its in the comercial area of fukuoka and also teeming with homeless who have invaded every crevice.

Ninety-Ninth Episode: Fukuoka Board Gaming
I found out about a Board Game group in Fukuoka city, and I HAD to attend their games day! I've only managed to go to one so far, but I'm really hopeful I'll be able to go almost every month. I played Munchkin, Hanabi, Tsuro, Star Flux, Cards Against Humanity, and Ticket to Ride Asian expansion. It was my first time to play every game, except Tsuro. And I lost them all!

We arrived in Fukuoka and traveling on a bus with freepass facilities offered. The bus is great, nice and clean.
Not unexpectedly, we turned out to be lost in Fukuoka. We finally asked to pedestrians there. Grandpa was very friendly and told us where the bus again should we take. In fact, he was also waiting for us until our bus came.
So, what is the best place while in transit in Fukuoka? Check this out~

I had an hour and a half to kill, and it's been SOOO long since I managed to do a wander video that I HAD to take the opportunity! For some reason, even though I had less time to wander than I did when I did the Fukuoka video, I managed to make a LONGER video than the Fukuoka one!

Checking out the sites and sounds of another train station in Kurume, this one is Nishitetsu. Many vendors selling different items.. when I found the fish lady, she actually told me to stop filming the fish that she had in her cooler.. so I moved on to the cool fruit and vegetable guy! Enjoy ^.^

Blueberry picking in Kurume
Blueberry picking is a perfect summer activity for the whole family: the bushes are low, the berries pop off the plants easily, and your family can literally pick hundreds without breaking the bank—or your back hauling them home. In Japan, the blueberry picking season is from late June to early September.
There are three types of blueberry picking programs in Japan; 1. fixed price for 30 mins of all-you-can-eat for 1, 2. no eating, but rather pick 1 kilo and pay, and 3. all you can eat no time-limited (usually outside farms).
Our recommendation spot for blueberry picking is Blueberry no Mura in Kurume City. It's close to Fukuoka, easily accessible and cheap. If you have recommendations on great blueberry picking locations please comment below.

I'd seen this park in a magazine years ago and then forgot about it! I don't know what sparked my memory, but we finally went to the Kurume Cycle Family Park! It's a great place to take your kids!
Or maybe even a date if you're into cycling. You can go on the double tricycle and snuggle up! :)
