The Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome 福岡 ヤフオク! ドーム is a baseball field, located in Chūō-ku, Fukuoka, Japan. Built in 1993, the stadium was originally named Fukuoka Dome 福岡ドーム and can accommodate 38,561 spectators. With a diameter of 216 meters, the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome is the world's largest geodesic dome. This is Japan's first stadium built with a retractable roof. In 2005, Yahoo! JAPAN, one of SoftBank's subsidiaries, acquired the stadium's naming rights, and thus renamed it Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome 福岡Yahoo! JAPANドーム . In January 2013, it was renamed to Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome 福岡 ヤフオク! ドーム.
The adjoining grand resort hotel and a shopping mall together with the dome make a big entertainment site called Hawks Town.
It is located near Momochi Beach, about 15 minutes walk from Tojinmachi subway station.

My first ever Japanese baseball game experience in Fukuoka city, Japan
This was my very first baseball game ever, Amazingly it was in Japan. My video consists of a tour at the Oh Sadaharu Baseball Museum and the baseball game experience at the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome, also Fukuoka Yahoo! Dome. The teams playing were the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks and the Yokohama DeNA Baystars. June 1st, 2018

SoftBank Corp. had carried out a field trial for a real-time video streaming service done via LTE networks.
From September 17th to 19th, during baseball games between Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS and ORIX BUFFALOES, live video streams are delivered by LTE-Broadcast.

An event to introduce the “Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome Course” 「ホークスコラボツアー」 a new route for the Fukuoka Open Top Bus was held at the Dome! The tour will cost ¥2,870 for adults and ¥1,390 for children of four years of age to elementary school students. Children of three years or under cannot ride the bus.
