The Rugby World Cup to be held in Japan in 2019. One of the venues is the Ecopa Stadium in Fukuroi City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
It is expected that many guests will visit Fukuroi City during the Rugby World Cup. The Fukuroi Homestay Project 2019 was created to help showcase the beauty and uniqueness of Fukuroi City to the world as well as make rugby fans from overseas feel welcome.

Fukuroi Enshu Hanabi: The Pinnacle of Summer in Shizuoka

In Shizuoka, Fukuroi City Hanabi （袋井遠州の花火）is known to cater one of the best fireworks festivals in the whole prefecture attended by thousands of people every year. It is an annual event usually in the second week of August sponsored by companies and joined by professional fireworks masters for competition. The criteria for judging are theme, originality, technical aspects, artistry and safety. The official song to be played is entitled Kizuna Kara Yume Ni (絆から夢に) or From Bonds to Dreams. The lyrics sentimentally states that we can do things and succeed if we do it altogether. Watchers wear yukata to traditionally celebrate the festive. Food stalls stand in the designated areas sell takoyaki, yakisoba (fried noodles), yakiniku (grilled meat)- name it, they have it. The store owners are not only Japanese but is also open for other foreigners who want to sell their native food products as long as they have secured a permit from the Fukuroi Hanabi organizers. On August 11, the show will start at 7 in the evening and ends by 9 pm.

平成24年（2013年）に静岡県・袋井市の油山寺を参拝した。
油山寺（ゆさんじ）は、静岡県袋井市村松にある真言宗智山派の寺院。遠州三山の1つ。山号は医王山。詳しくは医王山薬王院油山寺と称する。本尊は薬師如来。紅葉の名所として知られる。寺伝によれば大宝元年（701年）に行基が創建し、油が湧出した所から「油山寺」の名が付いたという。その後天平勝宝元年（749年） 孝謙天皇が眼病平癒を願い、当寺の「るりの滝」の水で眼を洗浄したところ、全快したので勅願寺に定めたとされる。以来、特に目の守護、眼病平癒の寺として信仰を集める。また、一山の守護神軍善坊大権現は足腰の神として古来より東海道を往来する旅人の信仰を集める。
元亀3年（1572年）、兵火により焼失。天正2年（1574年）から三重塔の再建が開始されるが、工事には長い年月を要し、屋上の相輪を上げたのは40年近く後の慶長16年（1611年）であった。

山門 - 江戸時代初期、万治2年（1659年）に建立された掛川城の大手二之門を明治初期に移築したもの

Spiffy Places to See in Japan: Aizu Fukushima Part 1
My Trip In March to Aizu of Fukushima Prefecture.
Myself and Coworker Joel decided to road trip it north for a weekend of Onsen and Sightseeing. In this video we visit the Okawa Onsen Resort, Ouchijuku (old trading post town) and Aizu Castle.
To get to Aizu the best way is to rent a car but you need a international or Japanese license to do it. Car rentals are cheap, usually ranging from 70-100$ a day including gas and Freeway tolls. We personally like to use NicoNico Rent a car.
Fukishima is in dire need of tourism money since the 2011 earthquake so I encourage everyone to go, we had a great time, helped support the local community and enjoyed the sights and nature of the area. We at no time felt unsafe and didnt sweat the radiation issue. We didnt want that to stop us from having a good time and doing what we can to help stimulate the local economy.

Nagoya Port is one of the biggest Ports in Japan. Since we are docked at Chita City it’s about an hour away from Nagoya, it’s quite hard to search some nearest restos or malls but fortunately we have found one that gave us to unwind and relax a lil bit.???? We all know that Taxi rates in Japan is very expensive so here’s our ¥15,000 budget (for 3 persons).????????????

RASPA MALL (you can shop or have some foodtrip around)
????How to get there:
????From Chita City ride a train from the nearest station named ASAKURA.
????Get a ticket bound to OTAGAWA station. Tickets is for only ¥230/person.
????Pagbaba sa train yun na ang mall. Hindi masyadong malaki ang place pero marami resto na kaya nang budget.

I visit Tottori's desert and trek the amazing sand dunes. Tottori is Japan's largest desert. I also visited the amazing sand sculpture museum.
