Fulong Sand Sculpture Festival: Taipei Beach Day Trip
The Fulong International Sand Sculptures 2019 Art Festival is only 1-hour away from Taipei by train and is well worth the journey!
The Festival happens every year from April to August and uses new sculptures each year. Artists vary from local to around the world.

When is the Fulong International Sand Sculpture 2019 Art Festival?
The Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art Festival happens every year from April to August. Fulong began the sand castle festival in 2008.
How do the sand sculptures keep their shape?
Once the sand sculpture is complete, it is sprayed with a chemical that hardens the sand. This helps prevent damage to the sculpture from wind and rain.
Recommended visiting Time For the Fulong International Sand Sculpture 2019 Art Festival
You’ll only need 1-hour or less to truly experience the Fulong sand castle festival. When you’re done, you can go relax at the beach.

recreational attraction and the Beach became more
popular during the period of Sand Sculpture
Festival. This year, there are 28 sand sculptors
from 13 countries in the world.
Fulong International Sand Sculpture Arts Festival 2019
Pantai Fulong terletak berdekatan dengan Desa Fulong di muara Sungai Shuang di Distrik Gongliao, Kota New Taipei. Sering dikunjungi oleh penduduk Taipei selama musim panas karena aksesnya yang mudah dari kota, Fulong adalah salah satu tujuan pantai yang lebih populer di Taiwan utara.
Pasir di pantai berwarna emas, jarang di Taiwan, menarik pengunjung dari seluruh pulau. Festival seni patung pasir diadakan pada awal musim panas setiap tahun.
Sungai Shuang membagi pantai menjadi dua area berbeda yang dihubungkan oleh Jembatan Pelangi ( 彩虹 橋 ). Bagian terluar pada dasarnya adalah sebuah pulau yang ukurannya bervariasi sesuai dengan aliran sungai dan pasang surutnya.

This is my trip to the Famous Fulong International Sand Sculpture Festival in New Taipei City Taiwan, it was a nice relaxing trip to the beach and getting to check out all of the cool sand sculptures.
I was really surprised at how clean this beach was compared to some other beaches I have been to in my travels.

One of the most popular beaches in Taiwan,Is less than 2 hours from Taipei by train.
Fulong Beach, also known as Fulong Bathing Beach, is located at Fulong Village, Gongliao District, New Taipei, Taiwan. It is the outlet of the Shuang River. Fulong Beach is located adjacent to Fulong Village at the mouth of the Shuang River in Gongliao District of New Taipei City.
