A Look Around the Wanaka Toy/Transport Museum (NZ)
In New Zealand, one of the places I visited was the Wanaka Toy and Transport museum. It features hundreds of vehicles and vintage toys and is definitely something interesting to visit.

We Visited Wanaka Toy and Transport Museum back in Sept '18 and ended up spending a good couple of hours there. You definitely need to allow 2-3 hours to explore the place and even more time if you wanted to look at everything in detail!

The Stroll - Tynemouth Toy Museum.
An instrumental and a stroll through a toy museum which can be found at The Palace Building, Grand Parade, Tynemouth. It's run by Maureen and Tony who have endless knowledge of most of their displays - and they're nice people. It costs next to nothing to get in. So give it a try if you're in the North of England. tynemouthtoymuseum.co.uk

2105 NZ Morris Tour In Hawera 1
From New Plymouth, Hawera is on the other side of Mount Taranaki. After the concert performance the night before, there was a bit of faffing around between dances (which I snipped out).
Kings of Hāwera - Roadside Stories
Author Ronald Hugh Morrieson famously once commented that he hoped he wouldn't be discovered after his death - but, sadly, that was exactly what happened. Never popular in his home town of Hāwera - which was recognisably skewered in his novels - Morrieson gained a strong following after his death in 1972. Hāwera is also home to Kevin Wasley, a dedicated Elvis Presley fan who runs a museum celebrating 'The King' - and sometimes dresses as his hero.
