Life of Maya: Horseback Riding in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, Aug. 2006
My daughter Maya Angela Hernandez George was born June 17, 1997 and died of brain cancer on January 16, 2007, at the age of 9-1/2. I share these home movies for all our family and friends who love her and miss her.
In July 2006, Maya and I went to Puerto Rico to explore the island and attend the wedding of my cousin Jason Watson and his beautiful bride Jessica Estrada. Then Maya and I traveled to Dominican Republic for another 3 weeks of fun and adventure.
Maya loved horseback riding and actually rode horses in many countries in the world, including Mexico, Pakistan and Germany. Here she is riding on Cabarete Beach in Dominican Republic.
