Mozu-Furuichi Kofungun Ancient Tumulus Clusters Sakai City, Habikino City, Fujiidera City, Osaka Prefecture
The cities of Sakai, Habikino and Fujiidera are home to the large keyhole-shaped burial mounds of the Mozu-Furuichi Kofungun Ancient Tumulus Clusters. They are important sites for capturing a glimpse into Japan’s ancient past and their high historical value is guiding efforts to gain registration as a World Heritage.
