Vietnam Sleeper Bus Experience (Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City)
We took the sleeper bus from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
After experiencing the train, we wanted to try the bus to see how it compares. I made a rookie mistake and selected a seat in the far back thinking it was the front. I'd avoid picking either the far back right or left. The leg room is cut a bit short from the reclining seats directly in front. Plus, there are 5 connected seats in the back which would be tight if they're all occupied. All the other seats are individual pods, which looked more comfortable.
There was no washroom on the bus, though we stopped a few times. Also, the attendant working on board let us know that if someone needed to stop, they would.
I preferred taking the train over the bus for a few reasons:
- There is much more room on the train (we were in a 4-berth) and had the ability to walk around.
- On the bus you obviously have to stay in your seat.
- The train had a washroom.
- The train is a slightly smoother ride.
Happy I took it...but next time I'll fly.
Thanks for watching. I hope this video helps with your planning:)

my experience with a sleeper bus last year during my time with the world race left a significant memory. so, i was partially pumped and partially terrified to do it again. ;0) nearly 22 hours of vietnam scenery, bus stop restaurant stalls, movie watching, napping, and snacking later, we arrived to da nang!

I take a Futa sleeper bus from the busy Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) to the mountain city of Dalat in Vietnam. Travel Day: Dalat to Ho Chi Minh City via Bus!
Spoiler: Don't do it if you are susceptible to motion sickness.
I thought this was the worst bus ride I'd been on till one in the Philippines. More on that later.
It is a really cheap option though if you are on a tight budget!

Cooking Class in Saigon! Vietnam bus to Saigon from the Mekong Delta (Can Tho)
In this travel vlog I take a cooking class in Saigon! But I start the day with breakfast on the rooftop terrace of my hotel in Can Tho Vietnam, and before I learn how to cook Vietnamese food I need to take the bus to Saigon from Can Tho on the edge of the Mekong Delta in Vietnam.
After my bus from Can Tho to Ho Chi Minh City, I have my first experience of using a Grab Bike in Vietnam, which I order using the Grab Bike App. This is a bike taxi service which is very useful for getting around the busy streets of Ho Chi Minh City.
My cooking class is with Caroline of Saigon , you can find Caroline on facebook:
