In Part 2, we ended of at Tromso. Watch part 2 here:
Kirkenes
From Tromso, we took a Hurtigruten Voyage Cruise to Kirkenes. It was a 2 night cruise and arrival early next morning. On the cruise, we saw northern lights dancing in the sky. It was very beautiful. Once we reach Kirkenes, we head over to Krikenes Snow Hotel. we saw many nice ice sculpture in the hotel, pet some lovely dogs and saw Gabba the reindeer.
The next day we went for a King crab hunt and Snowmobile riding with Barrent Safari. It was a tour that i am looking forward to, because we get to eat unlimited amount of King Crab for the night. Hot, Steamy & Juicy King Crab is dat best!
We chartered a minibus to ferry us to Saariselka. And we crossed the boarder to Finland. It was a 3 hours bus ride. When we reach Saariselka, we rental a minivan and headed to our 1 night Airbnb stay.
Rovaniemi
Early next morning we head out to Rovaniemi. It was a 2 hours drive. We stop by Hesburger, a famous burger joint in Finland and had our breakfast there. After which, we visited the Santa Park. Did many activities in the park, like sit a magic train, see Santa Claus and even watch some aerobic elf performance.
A short tour of our awesome Airbnb at Finland and we head out to Santa Claus Village. At Santa Claus Village, we went to the main post office and mailed out some postcards, and got our passport stamped as we cross the arctic circle. We also did some tubing slides.
It was a great year end trip! In this trip, i tried many things for the first time. Like skiing, snowmobile and etc. It was a great experience. If i have the chance again, i will come back again!
Till next time!

Staying in the Snow Hotel, Kirkenes Norway
Spending the night in sub zero Celsius temperatures, April 2019. Sleeping bag, socks and balaclava. Felt a little claustrophobic in the sleeping bag as I'm used to rolling around when I slee. Limited to one night stay in a Snow Hotel room. Although there is non-snow accommodation.
Dinner and breakfast are included.
There is also a husky farm (aka The Dog Yard) and reindeer including Gabba the white reindeer.
