Galeria Katowicka
Presentation of Galeria Katowicka, a joint venture of Neinver, Meyer Bergman and Polish State Railways (PKP). The investment also involves the new building of Railway Station, an underground bus terminal and an A-class office building. In 2012, the Railway Station in Katowice will become the most modern large station in Poland.
The total retail space of the buildings constituting the complex will amount to 53 000 sq. m, while the office space will feature 24 000 sq. m. The investment's value is estimated at EUR 240 million. Roughly 2 000 people will be employed with construction works and the new shopping center (Galeria Katowicka) shall provide 1 500 job places.

Axis Communications and Galeria Katowicka Shopping Arcade: Biggest people counting system in Poland
Axis Communications' products were implemented in Galeria Katowicka Shopping Arcade. Axis cameras combined with the software designed by ADP Partner - Top Key company created the biggest people counting system in Poland. The system lets the shopping center to understand the reasons behind people's choices to visit the shopping mall or one or more of the small outlets scattered across Galeria Katowicka. The system provides an insight into customer behaviour and allows to develop a unique strategy for the arcade in collaboration with their retailers.

Walking in KATOWICE / Poland ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Katowice in the Upper Silesia region of Poland is a modern industrial city. Tourists often go to Katowice for the airport, coming from the Czech Republic or on a stop-over between Wroclaw and Krakow.
We start this evening walk at the train station with the connected shopping mall Galeria Katowicka. The walking street Stawowa leads us to the Supersam shopping mall. We quickly pass through the mall on our way to the Silesian Insurgents' Monument and park.
Then we are going to the main square Rynek and walk a bit outside of the center. We walk to and on the Mariacka street with restaurants and bars.
At last we head South through a more quiet area to end the walk at the Cathedral of Christ the King.

Otwarcie Galerii Katowickiej [18 września 2013 r.]
15 tys. prezentów, 50 tys. na zakupy i nawet 200 tys. klientów – to najważniejsze liczby związane z debiutem Galerii Katowickiej. Otwarcie obiektu potrwa od środy do niedzieli.
Pierwsi klienci przekroczą próg Galerii Katowickiej w środę 18 września o godz. 10.00.
Zarząd obiektu zdecydował, że z powodu lokalizacji w ścisłym centrum miasta atrakcje związane z otwarciem zostaną rozłożone na kilka dni.
– Szacowaliśmy, że gdyby w ramach otwarcia zorganizować jeden kulminacyjny punkt, na przykład występ muzycznej gwiazdy, do centrum w ciągu kilku godzin mogłoby przyjechać dodatkowo nawet 50 tys. osób i 10 tys. samochodów. Byłoby to zbyt dużym wyzwaniem dla układu komunikacyjnego Katowic – mówi Agnieszka Jurkiewicz, Marketing i PR Manager Galerii Katowickiej.
