My contemporary art is alchemy: different, unique, with multi-faceted dimension, a mosaic that is always changing and growing. It is a treasure and gift of legacy. My distinctive signature style is distinguished first by passionate colour that in combination transforms my paintings into works with dazzling hues. I use images, motifs and my love of exotic costume, kimonos and tapestry in my artwork. My work is recognizable through symbolism, stamping, markings, floating dots, and circular and squared patterns that evolve into very original personal abstractions. Look closely-you will see the influence of Gustav Klimt and Paul Gauguin whose works make my artistic heart sing!

English - It's the end of an era for the Ballarat local bus system here in Victoria Australia. Many of the routes featured here have been around for decades with very little change until now. All routes in some form are being restructured. Whether it be a different name, route number or actual route travelled modifications. This footage shows the last day of the original network on Saturday January 28th before the new network started operating the next morning. We profile an art exhibit at the Mennonite Heritage Centre called Along the Road to Freedom. Artist Ray Dirks created 25 paintings honouring the women responsible for getting their families to Canada safely after escaping the Soviet Union at the end of the Second World War.
