Scientists confirm that dogs can recognize an untrustworthy person.
When your dog growls at someone in your home - they may be onto something.
So on our countdown today - we have the top 4 reasons why you should trust your dog before you believe your friends.
#1. Science proves that dogs know when someone is rude to you
It’s fascinating to think that a dog can figure out when someone is rude to you!
According to a study published in the journal of Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews, dogs can tell when someone is being a jerk.
This research was conducted at Kyoto University in Japan around 2015.
In this study, scientists conducted a live experiment with dogs and their owners.
What they found is enlightening.
The live scientific experiment involved two different phases. In both scenarios, the dog owner would pretend to struggle with opening a package that contained a toy.
Then the actors came in.
In the first case, the hired actor aggressively refused to help. In the second scenario, the actor helped open the container
After the performance - the actors were instructed to give treats to the owner’s dog.
The dogs accepted food from the actor who tried to help, however, they refused treats from the actor who didn’t lend a hand.
And that brings us to #2 on our countdown.
#2. Science proves dogs know when someone is deceitful
Believe it or not, dogs don’t respond to unreliable people
Again in Kyoto University in Japan!
But this time with another scientist.
The study was conducted by Akiko Takaoka in 2015.
This research laid the foundation for a groundbreaking experiment as to why dogs trust some people and not others.
And this study wasn’t just a paper.
It was a live experiment where researchers believed a dog would go where you pointed – if you were telling the truth.
Most people know an obedient dog will go where you point if you are honest. But scientists wanted to test this theory.
They conducted their experiment in three parts.
With 24 different dogs.
On the first test, they pointed each dog to go to an overturned container that concealed a treat.
On the second test, they pointed each dog to an empty container - instead of one with food.
Every dog fell for it.
But here’s the problem.
On the third round, they pointed each dog to another concealed treat.
None of the dogs would go for it.
The moral of the story?
If you trick a dog once you may get away with it. But you won’t trick them twice. And on the third strike, you’re out.
John Bradshaw, who is a scientist from the University of Bristol, in the UK, weighs in with his opinion.
He states that dogs like predictability. So you can’t ever mislead them.
Apparently, they know honesty when they see it.
Which brings us to #3 on our countdown.
#3. Science proves dogs can understand hand gestures and body language.
According to animal behavior expert Inga MacKellar, canines will pick up on every move a dog or human makes. Whether it’s stiff behavior, playfulness, or nervous behavior, a dog will know immediately.
This is because dogs rely on canine body language to assess their own safety when they are around other dogs. This inbred behavior transfers directly to human behavior as well.
So if a person you know is saying one thing - but acting differently - your dog will sense it immediately.
That’s why your dog will bark or growl at a person they think they may be an immediate threat. Even if that person is only thinking of harming you in the future.
Dogs can pick up on unintentional and subtle cues - like when someone is nervous or has anger toward you. This person might seem all right to you, but your dog knows better.
#4. Science proves dogs can read facial expressions.
A recent study published in the journal of Learning And Behavior addresses the subject of whether or not dogs can read facial expressions.
Conducted by scientists from a University in Valenzano Italy, this study confirms what you were thinking all along.
Your dog knows what you are thinking from your facial expressions.
But they know what other people are thinking too.
This is a remarkable study. And it was an experiment where scientists showed dogs photos.
They were blown-up photographs of people with different emotions.
These were pictures of faces that expressed fear, sadness, surprise, anger, disgust, and happiness.
But there was one more facial expression. It was a neutral facial expression.
During the experiment, a dog’s heart would actually run faster when they were shown the angry, happy, surprised, disgusted, sad, or fearful photos.
The scientific study showed that when humans exhibit a clearly aroused emotional state, we are doing something alarming.
We are bearing our teeth.
This can indicate to a dog that we are bearing our fangs.
Which of course we are not.
But if you do experience an extreme emotional swing, don’t bear your teeth and hug your dog at the same time.
Dogs will see these both as a threat. It makes them nervous and over-excited.

-An experiment led by Dr. Akiko Takaoka from the Department of Psychology at Japan’s Kyoto University concluded that dogs refuse to trust a person who lied to it. Dogs did not follow a pointing hand that led them to an empty container.
-In an experiment, dogs wouldn’t take a treat from the people who’d been mean or disrespectful toward their owners. In fact, besides distrusting them, they flat-out ignored these meanies.
-With enough training and treats for a job well-done, dogs are able to tell the happy faces from the sad ones, even with human faces they didn’t come across during their training.
-In a study of 694 people, the scientists found a link between a person’s emotional state and their likelihood of getting bitten. Emotionally stable and confident people don’t get bitten nearly as often as those who feel anxious around intimidating dogs.
-Lots of dog owners have reported that their pets paid particular attention to their body part affected by cancer.
-Dogs’ super noses can sense the rapid changes in blood sugar levels since they change the smell of an affected person’s breath and skin.

Doraemon Robotic Internal Detailed Toy Collectible
Doraemon (Japanese: ドラえもん Japanese pronunciation: [do̞ɾa̠e̞mõ̞ɴ]) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujiko Fujio, the pen name of the duo Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko. The series has also been adapted into a successful anime series and media franchise. The story revolves around a robotic cat named Doraemon, who travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a boy named Nobita Nobi (野比のび太 Nobi Nobita).
The first full story in the Doraemon manga series was published in January 1970. A pre-advertisement for the manga was published in six different magazines in December 1969. A total of 1,345 stories were created in the original series, which are published by Shogakukan. It is one of the best-selling manga in the world, having sold over 100 million copies as of 2015.
The volumes are collected in the Takaoka Central Library in Toyama, Japan, where Fujiko Fujio was born. Turner Broadcasting System bought the rights to the Doraemon anime series in the mid-1980s for an English-language release in the United States, but cancelled it without explanation before broadcasting any episodes. In July 2013, Voyager Japan announced the manga would be released digitally in English via the Amazon Kindle e-book service.
Awards for Doraemon include the Japan Cartoonists Association Award for excellence in 1973, the first Shogakukan Manga Award for children's manga in 1982, and the first Osamu Tezuka Culture Award in 1997. In March 2008, Japan's Foreign Ministry appointed Doraemon as the nation's first anime ambassador. A Ministry spokesperson explained the novel decision as an attempt to help people in other countries understand Japanese anime better and to deepen their interest in Japanese culture.
The Foreign Ministry action confirms that Doraemon has come to be considered a Japanese cultural icon. In India, its Hindi, Telugu and Tamil translation has been telecasted, where the anime version is the highest-rated kids' show; winning the Best Show For Kids award twice at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards India in 2013 and 2015. In 2002 Time Asia magazine acclaimed the character as an Asian Hero in a special feature survey. An edited English dub distributed by TV Asahi aired on Disney XD in the United States started on July 7, 2014. On August 17, 2015, another English dubbed version distributed by Luk Internacional began broadcasting on Boomerang UK. The film series is the largest by number of admissions in Japan.

Japanese horror icon Kiyoshi Kurosawa pays homage to the gruesome slasher flicks of the 1980s with the cutting tale of a young woman forced to do battle with a murderous security guard. It's Akiko's first day on the job at Department Twelve of the Akebono Corporation, and needless to say, her short-fused managers and callous co-workers do little to make her feel comfortable in her new work environment. Things quickly go from bad to worse, however, when Akiko finds herself trapped in the enormous building and forced to do battle with a psychotic security guard with a decidedly bloody approach to office security

Kiyoshi Kurosawa was blacklisted for four years by the Japanese film industry powers that be after turning in a film that was intended to be a nudie sex romp, but conveniently left out the nudie sex. The producers were not pleased.
THE GUARD FROM THE UNDERGROUND was his first venture on return from his exile. I've read that GUARD is Kurosawa's homage to early 80s American slasher films. I think this does the director, who also wrote the film, a disservice. I think saying GUARD is merely an homage neglects a great deal of Kurosawa's unique style and talent that is evident throughout the film. He manages to take a fairly straightforward story; a killer on the loose in a building filled with trapped employees, and makes it stylistically interesting. There is humor, some social commentary, and more then one intriguing death scene.
I know I'm reading more into the film then is probably there, but GUARD seems to touch on the styles of many films and genres. With the protagonist being trapped in an unfamiliar environment with a menacing hulking man stalking the halls, I was reminded of the old Universal horror films, most notably, FRANKENSTEIN. I think pushed a little further, and if shot in black and white, GUARD would have made a unique homage to that film period. Also, I thought of Dario Argento when the slow moving killer would make his appearances. Like Argento, Kurosawa is slow to reveal the face of the killer, even though his identity had been established early on. There are also many close ups of hands and shoes as the stalking menace makes his way to each victim. Unlike Argento, however, there is relatively little graphic violence and most of the killings involve the thuggish creature clubbing his victims to death. An exception to this is a unique scene involving a locker. I thought it was inventive so I won't reveal the exact nature of how the locker is used so as to not spoil it.
I think fans of Kurosawa will appreciate GUARD and enjoy seeing some of his earlier more mainstream work. The film shows indications of a style he would expand upon in his later projects. Non-Kurosawa fans might find GUARD a little slow paced and might enjoy some of his later work, like PULSE, as a good starting point, or the exceedingly brilliant CURE.
Kurosawa is one of those rare directors who always seems to present something interesting in his films no matter what the genre or subject. THE GUARD FROM THE UNDERGROUND, while not one of his best, is certainly another example of what a talented director can achieve with a fairly simple storyline.

Namori is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. She was born on June 25 of 1987 in Takaoka city, Toyama prefecture. Aiming to be a comic artist since elementary school days, she formed a circle ELEGY SYNDROME and now residing in Kyoto prefecture working on several manga series.
This art book consist of various scenes from YuruYuri manga and commentaries that helps understand characters, their personal traits and their relationships with each others. For example, how Yui is excellent at tsukkomi while Himawari just very good at that, but Himawari excels in oppai category in which Sakurako is severely deficient.

Three years earlier, in 1934, while still a department of Toyota Industries, it created its first product, the Type A engine, and, in 1936, its first passenger car, the Toyota AA. It also holds a 51.2% stake in Daihatsu, a 16.66% stake in Fuji Heavy Industries, a 5.9% stake in Isuzu, and a 0.27% stake in Tesla, as well as joint-ventures with two in China (GAC Toyota and Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor), one in India (Toyota Kirloskar), one in the Czech Republic (TPCA), along with several nonautomotive companies. Breaking News One - Croydon tram disaster driver 'fell asleep' before crash
These are the first pictures from inside the Croydon tram that crashed and killed seven passengers and injured 51 others after the driver probably fell asleep.Driver Alfred Dorris, 43, dozed off for up to a 'few minutes', woke just before it flew off the track and was so disorientated he thought he was travelling in the other direction, an investigation has found.The seven commuters who died on November 9 last year were all thrown out and crushed by its sliding carriages.Marilyn Logan, whose husband Philip died in the crash, said today he would have been alive now if the windows had been laminated to stop people being tossed from the tram.These ejection-proof windows have been standard on trains since 1993.She said: 'Nobody would have been ejected.My poor husband had the tram on top of him'.The tram was travelling at 46mph as it entered a bend at Sandilands Junction where trains should not go any faster than the 13mph limit.New images show the devastated tram on its side near Croydon and inside its overturned carriages with shattered windows, bent handrails and buckled doors.Survivors described the trauma of being stuck with no emergency lighting and desperately called 999 because they had no obvious escape and said the moment it crashed was 'like being in a washing machine'.The 62 passengers who survived forced to smash their way out of the front and back windscreens before climbing out because there were no emergency exits available.The Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) report published today said everyone who died was ejected out as the tram toppled over.Emergency lighting had failed at the point of impact, shortly after 6am, plunging the wreckage into darkness.The Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) said in its report on the crash: 'The tram was left in darkness which compounded the confusion, shock and distress that the passengers were feeling.' Everyone that was killed had been thrown through the tram windows, according to investigators.Several people had gone through the glass as the speeding tram tilted at the Sandilands bend, getting crushed by its weight moments later.Injured commuters could not escape until the tram's front window was smashed with a fire extinguisher and metal bar.The report said: 'Passengers attempted to open all the double doors on the high side by pulling the emergency door release handles but were only successful in prising the door leaves apart at one location (the leading doors of the trailing vehicle).'However, faced with concerns that the overhead line might still be live, the passengers at that doorway decided not to exit the vehicle using that egress route.'Some other passengers reported trying to break the windows on the high side to create egress routes but were unsuccessful in doing so.'Having realised that they needed external help to get out of the overturned tram, many passengers reported a feeling of being trapped.'
