AMAZING ELLORA CAVES KAILASHNAATH TEMPLE - Aurangabad (MAHARASHTRA)
Kailashnath Temple, also Kailash or Kailāsa or Kailasanath Temple, is a famous temple, one of the 34 monasteries and temples known collectively as the Ellora Caves, extending over more than 2 km, that were dug side by side in the wall of a high basalt cliff in the complex located at Ellora, Maharashtra, India. Of these, the Kailasa (cave 16) is a remarkable example of Dravidian architecture on account of its striking proportion; elaborate workmanship architectural content and sculptural ornamentation of rock-cut architecture. It is designed to recall Mount Kailash, the abode of Lord Shiva. It is a megalith carved out of one single rock. It was built in the 8th century by the Rashtrakuta king Krishna .
The Kailash Temple is notable for its vertical excavation—carvers started at the top of the original rock, and excavated downward. The traditional methods were rigidly followed by the master architect which could not have been achieved by excavating from the front.
It is estimated that about 400,000 tons of rocks were scooped out over hundreds of years to construct this monolithic structure. From the chisel marks on walls of this temple, archeologists could conclude that three types of chisels were used to carve this temple.
All the carvings are done in more than one level. A two-storeyed gateway opens to reveal a U-shaped courtyard. The courtyard is edged by a columned arcade three stories high. The arcades are punctuated by huge sculpted panels, and alcoves containing enormous sculptures of a variety of deities. Originally flying bridges of stone connected these galleries to central temple structures, but these have fallen.
Within the courtyard are two structures. As is traditional in Shiva temples, an image of the sacred bull Nandi fronts the central temple housing the lingam. In Cave 16, the Nandi Mandap and main Shiva temple are each about 7 metres high, and built on two storeys. The lower stories of the Nandi Mandap are both solid structures, decorated with elaborate illustrative carvings. The base of the temple has been carved to suggest that elephants are holding the structure aloft.
A rock bridge connects the Nandi Mandap to the porch of the temple. The temple itself is a tall pyramidic structure reminiscent of a South Indian temple. The shrine -- complete with pillars, windows, inner and outer rooms, gathering halls, and an enormous stone lingam at its heart -- is carved with niches, plasters, windows as well as images of deities, mithunas (erotic male and female figures) and other figures. Most of the deities at the left of the entrance are Shaivaite (followers of Lord Shiva) while on the right hand side the deities are Vaishnavaites (followers of Lord Vishnu).

Shiva Temple - Anwa, Aurangabad
Shiva Temple of Anwa is one of the most beautiful Temples in Marathwada region. Anwa is a small village, 10km east of Golegaon on the main road to Ajanta, a total of 75 km. north-east of Ajanta. This village gained importance as it has a 12th century, Mahadeva/Shiva Temple. This consists of a sanctuary, an inner closed mandapa, and an open outer mandapa with porch projections on three sides. There are fifty pillars in mandapa,12 of which are the principal pillars, eight are slender ones flanking the entrances of the porches and antarala form within the mandapa. It seems that the Temple was dedicated to the Vaishnava deity. Almost all the figures on the faces of the pilasters of the jangha are of Vaishnava Goddesses. In two of the three main niches , however, are the images of Varaha and Gajalaxmi. The high basement displays deeply cut mouldings. The walls are divided into projections that rhythmically expand outwards. Niches with images of Vishnu are projected at the cardinal directions, with ascetic figures in the side recesses. The balconies of the open mandapa and porches are relieved by flat pilasters with stylised lotuses. The interior doorways are embellished with Vaishnava divinities in the company of Ganesha. Celestial dancers adore the columns, but the bracket features are mostly lost. Corbelled doors are created from concentric rings, of delicately worked petalled lobes. The Nandi and Linga are later insertions.

Welcome to MTR Vlogs
The first target of our Team MTR is to reach apk.
About video - From 'Ganesh Chaturthi' to Ganesh Visarjan, 'Moriya' is the buzzing of hum. Ganpati Bappa Morya, Mangamurti Morya, Pudachayavarshi Lavakaraya means O Mangalakari father, come next time and soon. In Malwa it runs on the same lines as' Ganapathi Bappa Moriya, Char Laddoo Choria, Ek Laddu Toot Gaya, Ni Ganpati Bappa Ghar Aigya.
The secret behind this Morya name associated with Ganapati Bappa is a Ganesh devotee. It is said that in the fourteenth century Chinchwad near Pune lived famous eminent Ganesh devotees named Morya Gosavi.
In Chinchwad, he did hard Ganesha. It is said that Morya Gosavi took a living samadhi here. Since then the Ganeshmandir here has become famous all over the country and the Ganesh devotees started the name of Morya with the name of Ganapati.
Best Wishes.

Bhadra Maruti Temple... Khultabad, Aurangabad
Shri Bhadra Maruti Temple is located at Khultabad (or Khuldabad) in Aurangabad Dist of Maharashtra, about 25km from Aurangabad and 3km from world famous Ellora caves. The idol of Hanuman, here is in reclining or sleeping posture. It is one of the only two places where you will find Hanuman in a sleeping posture, the second known place being at Allahabad. It is one of the known tourist attractions near Aurangabad and people gather in lakhs during auspicious occasions like Hanuman Jayanti and Ram Navami. The folk fare attached to this temple is that in ancient times the Khuldabad was known as Bhadravati. The ruler of the place was a noble king named Bhadrasena, who was an ardent devotee of Sri Rama and used to sing songs in His praise. One day Hanumanji descended in the place, listening to the devotional songs sung in praise of Rama. He was mesmerized and without his knowledge took a reclining posture -- called 'Bhava-samadhi' (Bhava samadhi is a yogic posture). King Bhadrasen, when finished his song, was astonished to find Hanuman in Samadhi before him. He requested Hanuman to reside here forever and bless his and Lord Rama's devotees.
