The ropeway cable car ride in Gangtok is a must do for every tourist. The exciting journey by the cable car is very adventurous as you will be able to travel over Gangtok at a great height and can get a real bird-eye view of the city.

From here, there is a very beautiful view of Sikkim's capital Gangtok, which can not be interpreted as not seen in the video. Two cables have been accompanied by people from one end to the other end of the Ropeway Gangtok. The maximum power of Capacity 24 people is to be able to travel to the cable car within 10 minutes. You can visit Gangtok, Changu Lake, Nathula and Baba Mandir all over the year except the rainy season because of landslides. Still October to May is the best time to visit there. And if you come to Gangtok, Changu Lake, Nathula and Baba Mandir for enjoying snow then visit from December to March.
Hotels at Gangtok, Sikkim:-
There are many hotels at Gangtok at all places though the best hotels are on the M. G. Road. Standard hotels tariff starts from Rs 800 per day to Rs 1500 per day. Though tariff of luxuary hotels on M G Road are more than Rs 2500 per day.

Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Do-drul Chorten, Banjhakri Falls Park, Gonjang monestery, Tashi View Point, Lasha Waterfall, Ganesh Tok, Hunuman Tok, Enchey Monestery, Rumtek monester, Shanti view point, M G Road, Gangtok Ropeway.
Gangtok Nathula Changu Baba Mandir Tour package (Rs 900 per head in share taxi). This includes

Gangtok Ropeway 2019 - Mountain Cable Car in Gangtok, Sikkim
GANGTOK is the capital town and a popular holiday destination of Sikkim.The visitors can have a panoramic view of the full Gangtok city while taking a ride in this ropeway.This is one of the greatest attractions in Gangtok. It's a double-cable zig back ropeway which is operational since December 2003.
The Ropeway ride has three terminal stations and one can choose any of them to start the ride in Deorali, Tashiling or Namnang. Enjoy a bird's eye view of the scenic landscape, gurgling Tista river and snow-capped mountains.
Each cable car can carry up to 24 passengers. There are no seats in the cable car, so you need to stand. This 1km long ride (up and down is 2kms), I would recommend that you take 2-way ride ... the ticket price includes two-way ride and you get awesome views both ways. One way ride takes about 10 minutes.
How to Reach Gangtok?
The nearest Airport to Gangtok is in Bagdogra and one can hail a cab or taxi from there to Gangtok. The nearest railway station from Gangtok is in Siliguri, which is directly connected to the major cities of the country Like Howrah Railway Station Kolkata, West Bengal. Taxi and bus services are available from Siliguri to Gangtok.
By Air it takes 1 Hour 15 Minutes (Nonstop) from Kolkata, West Bengal. By Train it takes approx. 10-12 Hours from Howrah Railway Station Kolkata.
Taxi will charges 250 rupees per head from Siliguri Station (Taxi includes 10 Person). It will take 5 hours to reach Gangtok from Siliguri. Bus ticket price approx. 120 rupees Per head.
