US GOLFERS RETAIN RYDER CUP
At Ganton Golf Course, near Scarborough, the USA Ryder Cup Team retained the trophy, beating Great Britain 7 to 5. After the first day foursomes Britain led 3 to 1, but were unable to hold on to the lead in the second day singles.

An unusual 11th Hole @ North Cliff Golf Club
The course (North Cliff Golf Club) was closed Sunday 3rd December due to flooding. This created unusual conditions in what is normally a small, free flowing stream in front of the 11th green, obviously due to a blockage slightly downstream.
However, the weather was good and the whole scene (devoid of frustrated golfers) was quite peaceful and tranquil, so being unable to play golf I put this brief film together to capture a rare moment of serenity on the course.
