Graveyard of the Atlantic - Vermillion Shipwreck - 4/6/12
GoPro footage from my dive of the Vermillion shipwreck on 4/6/12 in the graveyard of the Atlantic. This was my first dive of the 2012 season. The surface conditions could have been better, but overall it was a great dive. The dive companies involved are Carolina Dive Center ( and SCUBA Express ( I highly recommend both shops.
Conditions:
- Depth = ~90 ft to the deck and ~120 ft to the sand
- Visibility = 25-30 ft
- Temperature = 73 degF on the surface with a very light thermocline on the way down
- Current = Moderate to Strong on the surface, Light on the wreck
