On the second Monday of the Shravan mahina, lakhs of people thronged to the famous Garib Nath Mandir in Muzaffarpur Bihar to pay their respects. However, this religious and joyous occasion turned sour when a stampede broke out, injuring more than 50 people. The safety and security concerns of the mandir has come under fire post the stampede.
