Best Places For Breakfast in Legian, Bali

In recent years Seminyak and now Canggu have become the new favourites for tourists with all their wonderful restaurants and bars. However, if you're staying somewhere a bit cheaper like Legian or Kuta, top quality restaurants can be a little harder to find. Here is my three favourite places for Breakfast in the Legian area. All of these choices are also open for lunch and dinner and I can highly recommend them for their great service, food and drink selections.

Coxy's What to expect in Kuta, Legian and Seminyak Bali.

Whether it's your first time to South East Asia or Bali, or whether you have been before, this video will get you prepared for what you can expect to experience.

#1 Expect the unexpected
There will always be people, things they say/offer you or things that happen that you are not expecting. They will make you say What?

So be careful, cautious but have fun :)

#2 Have fun with the locals
Even though most people who talk to you want to sell you something (transport, massage, souvenirs, sex or whatever), if you reject with a smile or a bit of fun, they will return it with some smiles and fun also :)
After all, you are in Bali for a reason, to have fun on holiday right :)

#3 In Legian particularly you will see/hear so much Australia rather than Bali or Indonesia
I think especially for first timers, Legian is the perfect place to stay so you don''t get too much culture shock. You will feel more at home and in your comfort zone more.

Almost all restaurants, souvenir places or bars are catered to Aussies. You will see Australian flags everywhere, Aussie slang used (on signs and locals speaking it), the menus at restaurants are catered to the Western palate. You can even watch AFL and NRL games as many bars play them all the time.

#4 Expect the expected
You have heard about Bali, seen photos and videos and yes, those places also exist.... night clubs, bars and night life in Kuta, beach bars in Seminyak, pool bars and parts in Seminyak and Legian. As well as plenty of beaches to watch sunsets, swim, sunbathe or go swimming or surfing

Bali Knockoff Market Shopping & Local Street Food Guide [Day 8]

For day 8 of my time here in Indonesia, I got to explore during the day in Bali trying some local food and doing some local shopping.

I was invited by the Ministry of Tourism Indonesia to help promote Indonesia. We went on a 8 day, 7 night adventure that took us through Bali, Lombok, Gili Islands and the Labuanbajo and Flores areas. This was definitely an experience I will never forget.

HOW TO SHOP IN BALI - [VLOG #6]

Hello Happiness crossing Family! :)

Today we spent our day in Ubud at the Art Market and wanna show you HOW TO BARGAIN and SHOP in Bali!
If you're not familiar, this is a market with dozens of sellers bargaining and bartering merchandise.
Be prepared because shopping in Bali is pretty rough especially if you go to local Markets!

You will HAVE to bargain otherwise you will get ripped off which isn't convenient for you especially when you travel on a budget like us.

Other small tips for you to experience happy shopping in Bali:

- Never be rude, even if you feel like people are pushing you to buy something you don't want to buy, just walk away.

- After a while you will know how much you SHOULD pay for certain things and how much you SHOULDN'T. Take your time.

- If you don't get the price you wished for, take your time to walk around other similar shops (they all sell similar clothes)

- Sometimes it's clever to just walk away to get your fair price :-)

- Take a break in between shopping because it DOES get pretty exhausting and stressing

- ENJOY YOUR TIME. :)
