The Garrison Savannah on race day is the place to be if you want to have lots of fun & laughter.
You can pay to watch each race from the seated stands or you might decide to watch for FREE from the various standing points around the track.
This interactive video takes you up close to the horses and you get the chance to feel what it is like for the horses to burst out of the starting gates. You can also experience the delight of being on the finish line when the horse you backed wins a race.

Barbados - Historic Bridgetown and It's Garrison - World UNESCO Heritage Site
On June 25, 2011 Barbados joined an elite group of nations with world heritage properties when Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This inscription is a tremendous feat for a small Caribbean island states. It presented the opportunity to address the obvious geographical imbalance in sites from Latin American and the Caribbean. UNESCO’s commitment to the identification, protection and preservation of the world’s cultural and natural heritage is enshrined in the Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage (1972).

Grand Barbados Beachside Restaurant, Bridgetown, Barbados.
I was trying to upload this in my last couple hours before leaving, but the hotels wireless area was lagging. So the upload didn't happen. I was trying to make people jealous during office hours. Tee hee hee.
Was a great spot. I would recommend it to anyone. February seemed like a pretty ideal time to visit as well.
