Live Hip-Hop in Chiang Mai Thailand
If you like the night life of Chiang Mai people, one place you should not miss is the live hip-hop by rapper at Fashion House, the popular pub in Chiang Mai. Both singer and musicians in here are very smart and active. One amazing thing is almost the foreigners joining this pub. Perhaps you might meet your friends while you are hanging out with the hip-hop party in here.

Chiang Mai Weekend Walking Street (Tha Pae Gate)
This street market is the most popular in Chiang Mai and is especially packed on Sundays. Too packed that it's quite a challenge to see what is on offer. There is just simply too many to see, buy and eat. I suggest you skip dinner before going here because I am sure you will want to try some of the food being sold. Don't forget to bargain here, some items are marked up 100% than their usual price.
The Karen Long Neck Hilltribe Settlement
A very intriguing village with lots of handmade souvenirs. You can take photos with them but don't forget to donate to them a few baht as a courtesy. According to lingneckkaren.com, legend claims that the brass rings protect the women from tiger bites. But actually the practice of waring them helps maintain individual and tribal indentity.
Central Festival
There's over 300+ shops here with the likes of Zara, Uniqlo, Adidas amongst others ready to take your money away! Unfortunately we only had less than an hour to have lunch and shop. Sad sad sad. I was looking forward to ass a new color to my Adidas Supercolor collection, but sadly their colors were limited and in all bigger sizes. You definitely can spend a whole day in here, shop, eat and then maybe an IMAX movie.
Oasis Spa
A much needed break after the previous day of hardcore Songkran festival. The Windmill
Despite the European setting, their main specialty is Thai food, sushi and some western dishes too. The live band will keep you entertained as you enjoy your food. It's advisable to book as it is a popular stop for tourist groups who usually comes in a couple of coaches.

Pirates of Chemotherapy (a dramatic comedy theatre play) by Paul Schutte and directed by Toni Cacioppo, of The Gate Theater (gate-theater.com), was staged during February 14-17, 2019 at KAD Theater in #ChiangMai, #Thailand. It was also LIVE streamed by CNS on 15th February, Friday. This play was first staged in 2009 in USA.
This powerful dramatic comedy, 'dramedy', is about six women (and one man) who share a diagnosis of #breastcancer, all of whom are in various stages of treatment, recovery, and remission. They bond and band together in touching and often hilarious support of one another, pledging to live life to the fullest! Pirates reminds us of how the relentless spirit of the human condition responds to love and considers the idea that healing is different than cure.

Pee Sao Krap - Street Singer in Chiang Mai
The Sunday Weekend Walking Street is easily the most popular shopping experience in Chiang Mai. A vibrant spectrum of art, crafts, music and food – with handmade quality goods and souvenirs that echo the spirit of Northern Thailand. The Sunday Walking Street serves as a venue for all kinds of local events, from dance recitals to beauty pageants and the sois (lanes) on either side of the main road feature stages and performance spaces. It starts at ThaPae Gate and runs all along Ratchadamnoen Rd, for around one kilometre.
Pee Sao Krub - Street Singer in Chiang Mai
As the name suggests it takes place every Sunday from 16:00 until around midnight. The road is closed to traffic during this time, and as one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city, it does get busy.

Loi Krathong parade Chiang Mai Thailand 2008
The parade started at Thapae gate at 7 PM, down Thapae road to the river then left to the city offices. The the parade floats were launched on the river to float down stream to the take out point. The parade included beautiful lighted floats and traditional Northern Thai music and dance performed in traditional costumes and as with all parades in Thailand beautiful women.

Hey my Luvs...Just a lil video of my exploring Koh Phangan Thailand...
Hey guys this is long over due but here's a short vid tour through my old Chiang Mai Neighborhood in Thailand...I absolutely loved it here...It was to me the perfect mixture of authentic Thai with the comforts of western familiarities...
It was only a 10 min walk to Nimmans..which is were alot of the foreigners and mid-upper class Thai's here in Chiang Mai deside to reside...it's alot more western and alot more expensive...
I was also only a 5min..20 baht..less then a dollar..red-car taxi ride to the towns square..Thai Pai Gate...where alot of tourist go...its also where alot of the night markets take place...so I was dead smack in the middle of the action and the best part was my apartment was less the $100US a month but I will talk more about that In my next upcoming vid...I will def be moving back here at some point..

*We parked our car at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) for RM4/24hours
*Then, we took a bus to KLIA2 that took exactly 40minutes and cost RM10/person
*If your flight at the KLIA2 (not KLIA) you NEED to spare AT LEAST 40 minutes just for walking to the gate(It was a long trip)
*The airport taxi at Chiang Mai Airports cost about 150baht/car , 250baht/mpv car
*If you need SimCard, You can traveler sim at 7-Eleven for 299baht for 7days with 1.59GB( We bought only one simcard and shared together, still have extras)
*We stay at kikie's guesthouse (1 double room + 1 triple room = 2400 bath for 3 nights )
* On sunday night there's a Sunday Night Market. I've been a lot of night market but this one the best. If you planning to come Chiang Mai, I recommended this night market in your list.
