Gawler Ranges Safaris is a small South Australian family business operated by the owners and dedicated staff. Specialising in wildlife and nature that the land has to offer, Gawler Ranges Safaris provides experiences in the outback and west coast of South Australia.

GEIST caravan trip into the Gawler Ranges & NP region, SA, on the 15th April 2015. .

We free camped at Tcharkulda Hill, then dropped the Geist van in the main street of Minnipa township and headed out with a FREE Navara to sight-see for the day, visiting Pildappa Rock & then driving cross-country to the 4WD track leading into THE ORGAN PIPES.

The footage is mostly still's with some movie taken of the Organ Pipes.

Gawler Ranges Rock-Hole Project presented by South Australian Native Title Services

The Gawler Ranges rock-hole project is a partnership between the Gawler Ranges Native Title Group, South Australian Arid Lands Natural Resource Management Board, the South Australian Native Title services and the Department for Water.

This project is funded by the Commonwealth through the caring for country program.

It aims to assess the present condition of rock-holes in the Gawler Ranges and record plant and animal species using western science and Aboriginal traditional knowledge.

The plants and animals associated with the rock-holes are mostly not recorded in South Australia. The project provides an opportunity to observe and record new and rare species which may otherwise go unrecognised.
