Established in 1858 as the Mill Inn, and was known for some time as Buckerfields Mill Inn.

Gawler Sustainable Living Festival 2014
On the 16th November 2014 the Gawler Regional Natural Resource Centre held its fourth annual Sustainable Living Festival. The festival saw its biggest attendance with over 1000 people visiting on the day. On the day we were joined by Sophie Thomson from ABCs Gardening Australia, Sprout Cooking School, Karen Montgomery from Kspace and many local stalls selling products and promoting their services to the wider community.
The festival was supported by Mitre 10 Gawler, The Food Forest, Wintulichs Smallgoods, Sanders Fodder and Environmental and Science Media.
