in the early morning and in rather dark and rainy conditions we can make out the famous Watchet Storm Geysers in operation. The Washford River goes out to sea under the road in a tunnel here. At high tide and in stormy conditions incoming waves of sea water are forced up vertically through the car park drains holes.
