Tel Aviv the best city in the middle east and the gay capital in the region.
The best time to travel Israel is between April to October. perfect temperature for the beach and to walk around the city.
visit Jerusalem - only 45 min by bus from Tel Aviv. you can also make a one day tour to the holy city and to the dead see.
The Carmel market is only 5 in walk to Tel Aviv beach, so you can visit both of these places at the time. you can also visit Nchalat Binyamin pedestrian mall- it is parallel to the Carmel Market.
So Don't waste your time it is all Walking Distance.

My name is Zahi Shaked
In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide.
My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.
Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.
In order to fulfill this calling in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, glide over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and see the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.
Visiting Israel / The Holy Land for the First Time (I Headed Straight to a Wedding!)
I traveled to Israel (The Holy Land) for the first time, to walk where Jesus walked. The Bible came to life. When I headed off the plane, I headed straight to a wedding!
Come with me as I take you on a tour of the Holy Land, over the next few weeks. We will see Golgotha, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Megiddo, the Beatitudes, where Jonah was stranded, Paul and the Romans area, the Garden Tomb, The Garden of Gethsemane, The Dead Sea, the Western Wall, Tel Aviv and more!

Purim Street Party Tel Aviv Israel March 25, 2016
Purim in Israel. March 24-26, 2016
Purim is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in Israel. Purim in Israel is embraced by the whole country, from religious Jews in Jerusalem to secular Tel Avivians, it is a time of festivity and celebrated far beyond its original religious roots. Purim parties take place across Israel, with Purim street parties with carnival atmospheres taking place in almost every city, town and village in the country. Purim is also one of the biggest nights of the year at clubs up and down the country. With so much going on, and so much color in the amazing costumes that can be seen, Purim in Israel is a fascinating time to be in the country. In 2016, the festival of Purim will take place from the evening of March 24 until the evening of March 25 although events extend over the weekend, with many events taking place on Saturday March 26.
Purim is the festival that celebrates the Jewish people in the Persian Empire’s survival in the face of destruction in the wake of a plot by Haman. The festival is widely celebrated but is not a day when people do not work, and businesses are open pretty well as usual. The main symbols of Purim are masquerading, and from kids to adults, this tradition is widely embraced, and festive drinking, which many interpret as ‘getting drunk’ among all elements of society. Special foods, including Hamantaschen (Oznei Haman) – sweet pastry filled with, typically, a sweet poppy seed filling, are eaten, and bakeries across the country will be baking these in the run up to the festival.

First Time in ISRAEL!
This is my first time to go to Israel! I've wanted to go for years, especially in the past few years, and an opportunity came up for me to fly over there and do some filming for an organization called ARISE. So, my wife's mom flew into town to help her with the kids, and I flew to Israel to go on the ARISE tour, which connects Israel's biblical history to modern day. I'm excited and can't wait to tour Jerusalem and the country overall! But first, I have to go on an 11 hour flight to get there.
Check out ARISE at
