Gayasan National Park
I took a day trip from Daegu South Korea to Gayasan National Park. I hiked Sanghwangbong which is the tallest mountain in the park. I also spent the day exploring Haeinsa temple.

Big shout out to my best friend Josh for driving to and hiking with me on this beautiful mountain in Gayasan National Park. The peak, Sangwangbong, is 1,430M. The time that we went was a week before Buddha's birthday so you will see a lot of lanterns around Haeinsa Temple. I will include more information on the national park and temple below. South Korea: Haein-sa temple, a World Heritage Site
Haein-sa is one of the most famous temples in Korea and a World Heritage Site by the Unesco. It is located in the Gayasan National Park. It is very easily reached from the city of Daegu. This video shows the road from Daegu to the Gasayan National Park, then some images of the streams in the park, and finally the temple, which is reached through a baeutiful path in the forest. You can see also a buddhist monk prayng in a cahpel of the temple.
