One Day Trip To Geeveston, Tasmania!
We love to go to Geeveston for one day trip. Geeveston is a small town in the south of Tasmania. There are lots to see and do there.
We normally have brunch at Masaaki’s Sushi then take a walk at Platypus Walk. You may also visit the Forest & Heritage Centre, a tourist centre which details the history of the timber industry in the area.

Geeveston - launch into learning
Our local community can play a big role in preventing and reducing harm from alcohol and other drugs.
Feeling connected to our community can help protect us from the harm caused by alcohol and other drugs use.
Finding a local regular activity that interests you is a great way to start socialising and connecting with people around you.
To find out what is happening in your area; check out your local paper, a noticeboard, call the Council or ask your family or friends.
Hopefully you will find a great group in your local area but be prepared to try a few places and activities before you land on the perfect match!
For more information about Local Drug Action Teams, please visit the Alcohol and Drug Foundation website call Huon Valley Council on 6264 0300
