Went to Governor's Bay, stayed at Clearwaters Peppers Resort, saw 70+ alpacas, sheep & llamas at Gem Alpaca Stud in Fairlie, had the best pork belly & apple sauce pie at Fairlie Bakehouse, revisited Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Tekapo, saw the crazy Gatorade blue waters of Lake Pukaki, did the Hooker Valley hike and got submerged by waves in Kaikoura. Good short trip to revisit all these places that I first went to in 2013.

On my way to Christchurch airport, I stopped by a farm stay outside christchurch without appointment or plan to stay. Despite all that, the owner Kit was extremely friendly and taken time out to give me a quick tour of his alpaca herd in his outback. Below are their websites and links that you could find them,

Hello Christchurch! Don't be fooled by the quieter part of the South. Shamarra Alpacas was such an experience! Definitely difficult to find as it was up a mountain and was only accessible by a narrow rocky road (didn't think the Yarris was going to make it)...but man was it worth it. They were all partially shaved but they were still beautifully furry. Their spit seriously stinks though.
The Pure Pod was equally as amazing (had a sneaky look at Em's itinerary for the recommendation, so thanks Em!) Glass, glass and more glass, with a floor that lit up in the night. Definitely the calmer part of our South adventure, but all worth it (we go all out later on).
