Melbourne Yarra River Cruise to Williamstown Gem Pier - Australia Part 4
Melbourne (Yarra River) & Port Philip Bay Cruise to (Williamstown) (Gem Pier) - Part 4/4
Join me on this exciting Yarra River Boat Cruise continuing towards the Williamstown Gem Pier ( Melbourne Australia) January 2019.
Gem Pier is an historic pier on Port Phillip Bay, in Williamstown, Victoria, Australia. The pier is 145 metres (476 ft) in length and is currently home to the (Williamstown ship museum) - HMAS Castlemaine and Melbourne Seaplanes.
The first pier was built in 1839 near the present-day Gem Pier. Originally known as The Jetty, in 1853 it was renamed Old Pier following the construction of the New Pier (the Ann Street Pier). Throughout the 1860s and 1870s it was known as Steamboat Pier. In the 1870s it was renamed Gem Pier after the paddle steamer Gem that ran a ferry service from Williamstown to Port Melbourne from 1846 to 1886.
The pier was rebuilt in 1992.

6 FISHING TIPS from LAND FISH TV (Fishing Melbourne, Australia)
This video covers the 6 things I have learned, fishing with Lincoln, from Land Fish TV. Lincoln has a knack for consistently catching fish, even in Melbourne's most highly pressure land based fishing spots. Some of his favorite places are, The Warmies, Gem Pier Williamstown, St Kilda Pier, and the Docklands in the Melbourne CBD.

Fishing Williamstown for a Heap of Pinkies and Plenty of Action
In this video my Dad and I go fishing in Williamstown for a couple of hours. We finished off with 9 small pinkies, there was a lot of action. As bait we were using chicken breast and as hooks we mostly used size 6 long shank hooks. This was my first fishing upload and I’m still getting used to the GoPro. If you’re wondering where we were fishing from, it’s behind SeaWorks and the police station in Willy. As I mentioned in the video the fish weren’t very big but I love the fun, and the action of fishing.
If you enjoyed the video please like it, and subscribe to the channel.
I am trying to upload weekly, so please stay tuned for the next vid.
Thanks for watching, cheers????
