PACIFIC WAR - WikiVidi Documentary
The Pacific War, sometimes called the Asia-Pacific War, was the theater of World War II that was fought in the Pacific and East Asia. It was fought over a vast area that included the Pacific Ocean and islands, the South West Pacific, South-East Asia, and in China . The Second Sino-Japanese War between the Empire of Japan and the Republic of China had been in progress since 7 July 1937, with hostilities dating back as far as 19 September 1931 with the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. However, it is more widely accepted that the Pacific War itself began on 7/8 December 1941, when Japan invaded Thailand and attacked the British possessions of Malaya, Singapore, and Hong Kong as well as the United States military and naval bases in Hawaii, Wake Island, Guam and the Philippines. The Pacific War saw the Allies pitted against the Empire of Japan, the latter briefly aided by Thailand and to a much lesser extent by the Axis allied Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. The war culminated in the atomi...

Title: Organization and evolution of a novel yeast CDEI-like repeat cervid satellite DNA

Abstract
It has been proposed that pericentromeric satellite DNA arises from the progressive proximal expansion of ancient centromeric DNA. We recently isolated a novel cervid satellite DNA element (designated as satVI) in a mini-library that was generated from the microdissected pericentromeric/centromeric DNA of the chromosome X+3 of Indian muntjac. SatVI is organized as 11 bp-monomeric (ATCACGTGGGA) tandem repeats. Its repeats have approximately 5 kb in length along with approximately 3 kb of interspersed repetitive sequences in an Indian muntjac BAC clone and stretch over approximately 850 kb in the Indian muntjac genome. FISH studies revealed that satVI is predominately located on the distal pericentromeric region of the Indian muntjac chromosome X+3 and on the pericentromeres of several old World deer species studied. SatVI is also presented in the genome of Bovidae and Suidae. Based on the chromosomal localization, genomic and sequence organization, and copy numbers of satVI in species studied, we postulate that this newly found satVI DNA could be a putative ancient cervidic centromeric DNA that may already be preserved in the ancestor of the Artiodactyla family. Interestingly, many monomers of satVI harbor the identical yeast CDEI sequences. Several zipper-like d(GGGA)2 motifs were also found in the (ATCACGTGGGA)n repeat of satVI DNA. Whether the satVI is structurally and functionally correlated with the CDEI of centromere of the budding yeast and whether a zipper-like structure in satVI has any significant role, both require further studies.

SUMMARY
=======
Chiang Kai-shek (; 31 October 1887 – 5 April 1975), also known as Generalissimo Chiang or Chiang Chungcheng and romanized as Chiang Chieh-shih or Jiang Jieshi, was a politician and military leader who served as the leader of the Republic of China between 1928 and 1975, first in mainland China until 1949 and then in exile in Taiwan. He was recognized by much of the world as the head of the legitimate government of China until the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Chiang was an influential member of the Kuomintang (KMT), the Chinese Nationalist Party, as well as a close ally of Sun Yat-sen's. Chiang became the Commandant of the Kuomintang's Whampoa Military Academy and took Sun's place as leader of the KMT following the Canton Coup in early 1926. Having neutralized the party's left wing, Chiang then led Sun's long-postponed Northern Expedition, conquering or reaching accommodations with China's many warlords. From 1928 to 1948, Chiang served as chairman of the National Government of the Republic of China (ROC). Chiang was socially conservative, promoting traditional Chinese culture in the New Life Movement. Unable to maintain Sun's good relations with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Chiang purged them in a massacre at Shanghai and repressed uprisings at Kwangtung (Canton region) and elsewhere.
At the onset of the Second Sino-Japanese War, which later became the Chinese theater of World War II, Manchurian warlord Zhang Xueliang kidnapped Chiang and obliged him to establish a Second United Front with the CCP. After the defeat of the Japanese, the American-sponsored Marshall Mission, an attempt to negotiate a coalition government, failed in 1946. The Chinese Civil War resumed, with the CCP led by Mao Zedong defeating the KMT and declaring the People's Republic of China in 1949. Chiang's government and army retreated to Taiwan, where Chiang imposed martial law and persecuted critics in a period known as the White Terror. After evacuating to Taiwan, Chiang's government continued to declare its intention to retake mainland China. Chiang ruled Taiwan securely as President of the Republic of China and General of the Kuomintang until his death in 1975, just one year before Mao's death.Like Mao, Chiang is regarded as a controversial figure. Supporters credit him with playing a major part in the Allied victory of World War II and unifying the nation and a national figure of the Chinese resistance against Japan as well as his staunch anti-Soviet and anti-communist stance. Detractors and critics denounce him as a dictator at the front of an authoritarian autocracy who suppressed and purged opponents and critics and arbitrarily incarcerated those he deemed as opposing to the Kuomintang among others.

Biblical Series I: Introduction to the Idea of God
Lecture I in my Psychological Significance of the Biblical Stories series from May 16th at Isabel Bader Theatre in Toronto. In this lecture, I describe what I consider to be the idea of God, which is at least partly the notion of sovereignty and power, divorced from any concrete sovereign or particular, individual person of power. I also suggest that God, as Father, is something akin to the spirit or pattern inherent in the human hierarchy of authority, which is based in turn on the dominance hierarchies characterizing animals.

Foreign relations of Taiwan
The foreign relations of Taiwan, constitutionally and officially the Republic of China, are the relations between the Republic of China and other countries. The Republic of China is recognized by 21 United Nations member states, as well as by the Holy See. The ROC maintains diplomatic relations with those countries, as well as unofficial relations with other countries via its representative offices and consulates.
The Republic of China participated in the Moscow Conference, the Dumbarton Oaks Conference, the United Nations Conference on International Organization, and was a charter member of the United Nations. In 1949, the Nationalists lost the Chinese Civil War in mainland China and retreated to Taiwan. Despite the major loss of territory, the ROC continued to be recognized as the legitimate government of China by the UN and by many non-Communist states. In 1971, the UN expelled the ROC and transferred China's seat to the People's Republic of China. In addition to the ad tempus recognition of ROC by majority of countries before UN Resolution 2758, the Republic of China lost its membership in all the intergovernmental organizations related to the UN. As the UN and related organizations like International Court of Justice are the most common venues for effective execution of international law and serve as the international community for states in the post-World War II period, a majority of the countries aligned with the West in the Cold War terminated diplomatic relations with the ROC and recognized quid pro quo of the PRC instead. However, the Republic of China fulfills all the requirements in Article 3, 4, 5, 6, 110 and Chapter V of the United Nations Charter. The ROC's de jure seat is currently occupied by the People's Republic of China in the United Nations under the UN Charter. The ROC continues to maintain de facto relations, including with most of the non-governmental organizations at the United Nations, in addition with the concern from UNESCO. Exclusively, the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which is entitled by the founding of the United Nations as the cornerstone of modern-day diplomacy since the Vienna Congress, was signed and ratified by the Republic of China on 18 April 1961 and 19 December 1969 including Optional Protocol concerning the Compulsory Settlement of Disputes. Due to ROC's insecurity and intolerance in the 1970s and 1980s after being expelled by the UN and the termination of official US-ROC diplomatic relations, but by the American persuasion Taiwan has been gradually democratized and adopting universal suffrage from the one party-military rule under the leadership of President Chiang Ching-kuo. The first direct presidential election was held in 1996 and the incumbent President Lee Teng-hui was elected. As of May Fourth 2015, ROC nationals are eligible for preferential visa treatment from 142 countries and areas. In the context of Superpower and influential diplomacy, ROC's traditional and sober allies includes United States of America, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

Slavic squats and cheeki breeki
Cold kompot with chebureki
Always moving, never down
Such is life with slavs around
Take my Lada, drive in town
Fingers up and windows down
Hot pelmeni and some kvass
Drive around and pump hardbass
SLAV KING!
Slav. King.
Ready? Let's go!

When I fill my days with mayonez
But no..
Play this music from your car
Inviting friends from near and far
Here everybody knows
Squats on toes break your bones
Do you?
So listen!
Raving gopniks, pumping sounds
Squats in bushes, heels on ground

Why You Should NOT Drink Alkaline Water
Join my FREE 30-Day Low-Carb, No-Cheat Challenge Here!
Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: or go here:
SUGGESTION: Drink filtered water, spring water from bottles BPA-free. I am recommending not using an actual machine, which artificially makes alkaline water.
VIDEO ON PH:
Dr. Berg talks about alkaline water. The problem is, in nature water does come in an alkaline state because of the minerals. When you artificially make water alkaline, you split apart the water molecules with electricity to make it alkaline but without the minerals. Its the minerals that add the x factor in water, not just H2O. There are problems long term that can occur with drinking artificially make alkaline water - the neutralization of body acids (stomach, large intestines and urine). I have found that some people who drink alkaline water end up with a urine of a pH of 9, completely off the scale when it should be 5-6. This breads microbes. Making your entire body alkaline can create problems with electrolytes (affecting the heart), the muscles, and slow digestion, because you need a strong acid stomach.

SUMMARY
=======
Mao Zedong (December 26, 1893 – September 9, 1976), also known as Chairman Mao, was a Chinese communist revolutionary who became the founding father of the People's Republic of China, which he ruled as the Chairman of the Communist Party of China from its establishment in 1949 until his death in 1976. His theories, military strategies, and political policies are collectively known as Maoism.
Mao was the son of a wealthy farmer in Shaoshan, Hunan. He had a Chinese nationalist and anti-imperialist outlook early in his life, and was particularly influenced by the events of the Xinhai Revolution of 1911 and May Fourth Movement of 1919. He later adopted Marxism–Leninism while working at Peking University, and became a founding member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), leading the Autumn Harvest Uprising in 1927. During the Chinese Civil War between the Kuomintang (KMT) and the CPC, Mao helped to found the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, led the Jiangxi Soviet's radical land policies, and ultimately became head of the CPC during the Long March. Although the CPC temporarily allied with the KMT under the United Front during the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945), China's civil war resumed after Japan's surrender and in 1949 Mao's forces defeated the Nationalist government, which withdrew to Taiwan.
On October 1, 1949, Mao proclaimed the foundation of the People's Republic of China (PRC), a single-party state controlled by the CPC. In the following years he solidified his control through land reforms and through a psychological victory in the Korean War, as well as through campaigns against landlords, people he termed counter-revolutionaries, and other perceived enemies of the state. In 1957 he launched a campaign known as the Great Leap Forward that aimed to rapidly transform China's economy from agrarian to industrial. This campaign led to the deadliest famine in history and the deaths of an estimated minimum of 45 million people between 1958 and 1962. In 1966, Mao initiated the Cultural Revolution, a program to remove counter-revolutionary elements in Chinese society which lasted 10 years and was marked by violent class struggle, widespread destruction of cultural artifacts, and an unprecedented elevation of Mao's cult of personality. The program is now officially regarded as a severe setback for the PRC. In 1972, Mao welcomed American President Richard Nixon in Beijing, signalling the start of a policy of opening China to the world. After years of ill health, Mao suffered a series of heart attacks in 1976 and died at the age of 82. He was succeeded as paramount leader by Premier Hua Guofeng, who was quickly sidelined and replaced by Deng Xiaoping.
A controversial figure, Mao is regarded as one of the most important and influential individuals in modern world history. He is also known as a political intellect, theorist, military strategist, poet, and visionary. Supporters credit him with driving imperialism out of China, modernising the nation and building it into a world power, promoting the status of women, improving education and health care, as well as increasing life expectancy as China's population grew from around 550 million to over 900 million under his leadership. Conversely, his regime has been called autocratic and totalitarian, and condemned for bringing about mass repression and destroying religious and cultural artifacts and sites. It was additionally responsible for vast numbers of deaths with estimates ranging from 30 to 70 million victims.

3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy is a 2011 Hong Kong 3-D erotic costume drama film released in Hong Kong, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand on 14 April 2011. It is a new installment of the Sex and Zen series, but more dark and dramatic as well as occasionally paying homage to the humor of the film series. It is considered to be the world's first 3D porn movie shown in international cinemas.
3D Sex and Zen is essentially an adaptation of the classical novel The Carnal Prayer Mat depicting the sexual exploits of a young Ming Dynasty scholar named Wei Yangsheng. It is produced by Stephen Shiu, the executive producer of its predecessor film Sex and Zen. The film was falsely promoted as Hong Kong's first IMAX 3-D erotic film. The film was actually rejected by IMAX due to the subject matter and content.[3] Its cast includes Japanese AV idols.[4][5] Laughing aloud, producer Stephen Shiu Yeuk-Yuen described the experience of watching this film onscreen: It is just like [being a] voyeur near someone's bed.

The film is a Category III film as per Hong Kong rating and Stephen Shiu told that screening was likely to be blocked in Mainland China, a key market for Hong Kong filmmakers.[7] Nevertheless, producers further announced that 3D Sex and Zen will be released in various versions in order to bypass censorship laws in some jurisdictions and allow wider distribution.[8]
In Australia and New Zealand, the film was screened by Hoyts.
3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy mostly received negative reviews from critics. Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reports that 22% of critics gave the film positive reviews, based on 23 reviews.
Simon Foster of SBS Australia suggested the film loses steam along the way. He believes the thrill of the movie dissipates as the narrative turns nasty at the final 40 minutes, caused by those multi-dimensional rape and dismemberment scenes.[14] Daniel Rutledge of TV3 (New Zealand) sees that the movie carries noble messages of love being more important than lust and true love not requiring sex at all, but those messages are muted by the shock of wanting a bit of naughty fun and instead getting something really quite nasty.[15] Elizabeth Kerr of The Hollywood Reporter wrote, Given Extreme Ecstasy's ultimate message that All you need is love and the vindication of the value of emotional connection in intercourse, the road the filmmakers take to get there is perplexing to say the least.
However, Zoe Li of CNNGo gave the film a positive review. I walked out of the first private screening of the softcore 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy never wanting to have sex again, not because the sex scenes were gross... but because its message of 'true love doesn't need sex' was so convincing, she states.[17] On Simon Miraudo's blog, Simon suggested that the movie herald a new age in cinema.
