Genghis Khan,his grave/mausoleum Ordos-Storm from the East
I try a translation of the text:
-
Ordos, in the inner mongolian-autonom region of china.
Here lies the mausoleum that housed the soul of Ghengis Khan. Since over 800 years the priest gave the soul of the great Khan his home. Ghegis Khans bones have been transported on the way to the steppe here along. Since them is ordos a holy, sacrified place for the mongol, they belive that here is the place of Genghis soul.
In May sacrifice/donate a sheep to the ghost of Genghis Khan.
Patiently they wait until Khans soul comes onto the sheep. When the sheep is shaking this is a sign that the souls of the great Khan has arrived into the sheep.
The sheep is slaughtering immediately and not a drop blood has not to sink to the floor: A ritus following the will of Genghis Khan.
The liver is pulled out and its form tells about the fortune of the descendants/children of the great mongolian empire. which floods over the hole world... it seems it looks quite well for Mongol Ulus...
Ghengis Khan, the ocean-like emperor, an emperor that soul still lives in the mongolian steppe and still watches after the descendants/children of the great mongolian empire...

Inner Mongolia is located in northern China, and is famous for it's vast grasslands, desert and Mongolian customs. It is one of the most popular tourism destinations in China. The Hulunbeier and Xilin Gol grasslands attract thousands of travelers who go there to ride horses and drink Suyou tea. Ordos is also a great place to visit where you can explore the desert by camel, go sand boarding, and if you're feeling brave then you can try paragliding. Ordos is also home to the Genghis Khan Mausoleum.

On a little adventure, I took my Kawasaki ZRX 1200r out for a spin, only to find an entire town dedicated to different religions. I was surrounded by mosques, temples, churches. You name it, it was there. Also, there were mud huts, but across the street was a very wealthy replica village of the Qing dynasty. weird...

Genghis Khan, wereldveroveraar te paard
De tentoonstelling 'Genghis Khan, wereldveroveraar te paard' was van 17 februari t/m 27 augustus 2017 te zien in het Nationaal Militair Museum.
Genghis Khan voerde ontelbare veldtochten.

Sandstorm Hits Inner Mongolia, Disrupts Traffic
A sandstorm hit parts of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Saturday, disrupting traffic as visibility dropped to about 50 meters.
Local police patrolling along a provincial road in Alxa League, the westernmost part of Inner Mongolia, encountered and filmed the sandstorm at 17:37 on Saturday.
Strong winds kicked up sand and dust, forming a high wall of sand and engulfing all the buildings.
The sandstorm severely affected road traffic as the visibility was dropped to about 50 meters when it swept across.
Most drivers lowered their speed to less than 20 kilometers per hour and some of them parked their vehicles at the roadside for the sake of safety.

Liujiagetai
Trip through Qinghai / Gansu / Inner Mongolia with Martin.
The bus driver doubtfully dropped us aside of the road, somewhere between Baotou and E'erduosi. It was around 11am when we started walking. Our destination : Liujiagetai (good luck if you want to find it on a map !), a very small village in the countryside with a twist of desert of Inner Mongolia, more than 30km away from our starting point. We walked all day, carrying our heavy bag packs, were tempted to give up, but carried on, came across abandoned houses, walked into shallow water, asked our way to peasants whose mandarin was more than vague, and a few minutes after the sunset, we finally arrived in Liujiagetai, exhausted.
All day long we hoped that we could find a place to sleep at night. We said hello to the inhabitants. But at first, they ignored us ! So we sat down on the floor, behaving as quiet and humble as possible. Finally, a girl came out, and listened to us. We asked if we could find a place to spend the night. She went and talked to some neighbours... no answer. Her mother came out. She talked to her in a low voice. First she looked reluctant, but after a few words her face expression changed, and they opened their door to us ! It was unbelievable. They talked to us for two hours, gave us some food and a place to sleep. A strong wind of humanity blew in our hearts. God bless them.
Here is an overview of the village in the morning light.

After visiting Beijing, we then headed to Inner Mongolia by taking overnight train. Inner Mongolia is part of China, as a self-administrative region. People are friendly there. The major city Hohhot is quite developed already. If you would like to visit the desert or praire, it may take around 3-4 hours drive away from the city, but that would totally worthwhile doing that! :) Hope you would enjoy my little video sharing! : ) Cheers!
