Walk-able distance from Rose garden , but need to climb the steep Rose garden if you choose to walk . Can reach directly by car also. Scenic is Good but the best scenics are at Ladies seat viewpoint and Don Bosco Retreat Church's Viewpoint.
Pagoda Point is another amazing viewpoint in Yercaud. Every viewpoint in Yercaud are amazing with its serene beauty and wonderful lush green cover on hills. It has an elevated structure to get some really beautiful pics.. excellent view of the city of Salem. Would advise going there just before sunset so you can get a day time and night time view.. few stalls around and a public washroom too.

Yercaud is a Hill station in Salem District, in Tamil Nadu, India. It is located in the Shevaroys range of hills in the Eastern Ghats. It is situated at an altitude of 1515 metres (4970 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in Yercaud is the Servarayan temple, at 5,326 feet (1,623 m).The hill station is named owing to the abundance of forest near the lake, the name signifying Lake Forest.[1]
The total extent of Yercaud Taluk is 382.67 km2, including reserve forest. The entire Taluk is administered as a township. Yercaud also has a village council.

Yercaud is a hill station town in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It lies in the Shevaroy Hills, known for their orange groves, and coffee, fruit and spice plantations. Yercaud Lake has a boathouse, and is surrounded by gardens and woods. On the lake’s eastern shore, Anna Park has local plants and a Japanese garden with bonsai. To the southwest, Lady’s Seat vantage point has a watchtower with a telescope.

Lady's seat is one of the most visited sites in the town. It offers a spectacular view of Salem. It is an ideal spot for nature lovers, photographers and wanderers.

Annamalaiyar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva, located at the base of Annamalai hills in the town of Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu, India. It is significant to the Hindu sect of Saivism as one of the temples associated with the five elements, the Pancha Bhoota Stalas, and specifically the element of fire, or Agni. Shiva is worshiped as Annamalaiyar or Arunachaleswarar, and is represented by the lingam, with his idol referred to as Agni lingam. His consort Parvati is depicted as Unnamalai Amman. The presiding deity is revered in the 7th century Tamil Saiva canonical work, the Tevaram, written by Tamil saint poets known as the nayanars and classified as Paadal Petra Sthalam. The 9th century Saiva saint poet Manikkavasagar composed the Tiruvempaavai here.
The temple complex covers 10 hectares, and is one of the largest in India.[3] It houses four gateway towers known as gopurams. The tallest is the eastern tower, with 11 stories and a height of 66 metres (217 ft), making it one of the tallest temple towers in India. The temple has numerous shrines, with those of Annamalaiyar and Unnamalai Amman being the most prominent. The temple complex houses many halls; the most notable is the thousand-pillared hall built during the Vijayanagar period.
