We drove to El Paso, Texas! ????????❤️???????????? Gay Travel Video
We drove to El Paso, Texas to have a boyfriends vacation in this unique destination that's right beside the state of New Mexico and the country of Mexico! Check out what we did on our first day there and follow me on Instagram at or get handwritten postcards from me mailed to you by signing up at ????
With this new vlogging style I've changed the name of these videos to be Travel Tuesdays. The Travel Tidbits still exist because those 3 minute voiceover versions still air on the Canadian LGBT TV station OUTtv - they still upload them to their YouTube channel a couple days after these versions go up on my YouTube channel so if you want to learn more about the places we visited in this video see the TV version at
On Thursday we'll be back here on my channel with a Hotel Hangout where we chat with you from our hotel room and then next Tuesday we'll bring you along with us on another day in Tucson! See all of our previous destinations at

Mountain biking in El Paso
This is my first video on youtube. I am currently in the process of getting fit before I purchase a dirtbike to train and qualify for the 2020 Loretta Lynn Amatuer Championship in Hurricane Mills, TN next spring. Subscribe below as I will soon be posting riding videos, the process of designing and making a motocross training track, and possibly other cool videos.
EASY EL PASO HIKES: Palisades Canyon Loop
A great place for beginning hikers. Palisades Canyon Loop is located near UTEP. From Geobetty.com:
In 2010 the El Paso Public Service Board purchased Palisades Canyon from private owners and made this frequently used hiking and biking area officially open to the public. This loop goes up the old jeep road on the side of the canyon before looping around and back down on singletrack trails with views of El Paso and Juarez in the distance. There are plenty of side trails to make a longer trip from this.
As of January 2017 access to Palisades Canyon is restricted to using Rim Rd. due to construction on Robinson. You can also access the trails via Kenyon Joyce Ln or Stanton St.

Destination El Paso Annual Report 2014-2015 | Visit El Paso & El Paso Live
Destination El Paso and its operating divisions, Visit El Paso and El Paso Live experienced unprecedented success in fiscal year 2014-2015 and it’s my pleasure to share our triumphs with you via our Annual Report. The organization definitely worked hard to keep momentum going in terms of event programming, as well as maintaining existing relationships and creating new ones within the community.
One of the most notable events we hosted as an organization (Visit El Paso and El Paso Live) was the 2015 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships. The event, which spread over a whopping 127 days was wildly successful and we welcomed more than 60,000 professional bowlers and their guests. The feedback we’ve received from the organizers and the participants has been extremely positive and we can confidently say that we have recruited thousands of El Paso ambassadors who were pleasantly surprised by their experience in the Sun City – several of them are planning to a return trip with their friends and families.
With the assistance of the El Paso Hotel Motel Association and other partners, El Paso’s hospitality industry continues to make impressive strides. El Paso’s hotel occupancy rate increased to 68.4% and total gross hotel revenue was $177.2 million over the last twelve months. Equally impressive, 13,000 people were employed by the hospitality industry and total travel spending was $1.6.
In conjunction with National Travel and Tourism Week, we officially launched a new multi-component advertising campaign called “You Better El Paso Up.” Much like our city, the campaign is fun and quirky and alludes to the wide array of authentic, off-the-beaten path experiences they can have here.
That same week, we rolled out a brand new, state-of-the-art smartphone app that has garnered significant media attention because of its unique capabilities. What differentiates this app from other destination marketing organizations is that it is the first to offer visitors and locals alike the opportunity to use FaceTime technology to speak with a Visitor Information Specialist.
El Paso Live experienced tremendous success as well, as they partnered with the El Paso Community Foundation and the UTEP Department of Theatre and Dance to co-present the triumphant return of the beloved pageant, VIVA! El Paso. The event was a great success and we look forward to working on next year’s season well in advance.
The El Paso Downtown Street Fest welcomed more nearly 16,000 patrons and two of the hottest alt rock and metal acts, Weezer and Rob Zombie. The footprint of the festival was also extended this year to allow for additional vendors and entertainment. We also officially reinstated Cohen Stadium
As usual, the 2015 season of El Paso Electric Presents Broadway in El Paso was incredible, as we hosted a 16-show return run of the blockbuster, WICKED. Our standard summer series events such as Cool Canyon Nights, Alfresco! Fridays and our MCAD partnered event Dancing in the City drew record crowds.
This was also full of recognition and awards for Destination El Paso. Visit El Paso’s aforementioned ad campaign and community partnerships have received awards and El Paso Live’s venues have been recognized by the top performing arts industry publications.
Destination El Paso’s momentum is stronger than ever and we are committed to improving overall perceptions of El Paso. Our respective accomplishments, combined with a series of new public and private-sector developments have helped us attract favorable attention and we are especially proud of our efforts to market El Paso as a viable destination.
