On October 16th 2011, Bonaire hosted the major mountain-bike event; Duo Extreme Bonaire. Law firm VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne was the main sponsor of the event. 116 participants from Aruba, Curacao, Venezuela, Peru & Bonaire competed for the price-money of over $3000,-. The contestants raced an extreme and challenging mountain-bike trail of 79 kilometers throughout a large part of Bonaire and they competed in pairs, hence 'duo extreme'. Start and Finish took place at Divi Flamingo Resort Bonaire where many spectators where there to support the bikers. Revel . . . in the company of family and friends. The kids can have the run of our playground. Free cribs, highchairs, and roll-away beds are available when needed. You can even pack light! There's a laundry facility for a mid-week wash-up.
Stay . . . as long as you like. But when you must go, make the most of your final day in paradise: Book the late flight, enjoy the beach and pool, then make use of our shower and changing room before you head to the airport.
Our 4 star facility is located on Seven Mile Beach where you can snorkel right in your backyard. Plantation Village offers complimentaty ocean kayaks, road bikes (a plus to those who like to venture up the beach) lighted tennis courts, kids playground and gas BBQs. Being the only oceanfront timeshare resort on Seven Mile Beach, sunsets are a true delight.
When being close to the action and shopping is a priority, Plantation Village is the answer.
