Brazos Bend State Park | George Observatory | Alligators | RV Texas
Just 30 miles southwest of Houston, Brazos Bend State Park has been the home park for Stacie's family since it opened in 1984. In this video, we make a special day trip to Brazos Bend to give you a tour, show you some of the park's very unique features, and share why we love it so much.
Brazos Bend State Park is a great park for tent or RV camping with 30/50 amp electric and water hookups, shelters and a cabin. With multiple ecosystems including prairies and lakes, woodlands and wetlands, Brazos Bend offers easy hiking and biking on well-maintained trails. And we always see a lot of wildlife when we visit!
And, maybe the most unique feature we've seen at a state park so far: Brazos Bend is home to the George Observatory which is operated by the Houston Museum of Natural Science!

I can't help myself.
Our main goal was to see the George Observatory but I came away wanting to hike through the trails that run along the waterways. Alligators galore.
A wonderful 5-star trip.
I would like to connect on facebook if you care to have another connection there as well.
Look out for Nibiru Tracker 2012. I will show you comet Elenin as soon as we have the right viewing window to capture it with this equipment. It can be done easily with this set up if only the operators can get it working well enough to do it.
Thank you for viewing.

Camouflage Camping & Riding A Trikke at Brazos Bend State Park, Tx, USA
To celebrate Earth Day, Bob and I camped at Brazos Bend State Park in Needville, Texas, USA. Enjoy this three-part miniseries: #1 Camouflage Camping and Riding A Trikke, #2 Relaxing Woodland Walk, and #3 Wetland Wildlife Observation.
In episode #1, I made a camouflaged shelter with a 6 x 8 ft (1.8 x 2.4 m) tarp, observed wildlife, used plastic bags to keep my feet dry in spite of wet shoes and rode a Trikke. Trikes are human-powered, scooter-like vehicles that can be propelled without needing to push with your foot. They are lots of fun!!!

BRAZOS BEND STATE PARK IS LIT????
We headed out to Needville, Texas to the Brazos Bend state park to go camping and do some fishing.
I've been here a bunch of times but not for a couple of years. I've never fished in the park cause I mostly came to see the alligators.
Well the fishing pretty much was trash, the water levels were really low and there was barely any movement. We fished for a good 2 hours and then gave up.
We set up our campsite and when my brother went down the path where the creek was at to take a leak he was approached by that Gator. He was all by himself and was definitely hungry. Tried not to bother him too much but he stuck around the whole time we were there.
Overall we had a good time getting LIT and enjoying the outdoors. Brazos Bend state park is an excellent place to go and walk the trails and see some alligator, the fishing was horrible but that was probably because of the water levels around the ponds.
Thanks for watching
Peace,Love and Unity
and Always STAY LIT ????
Red Buckeye Trail at Brazos Bend State Park, Tx, USA
To celebrate Earth Day, I walked the Red Buckeye Trail at Brazos Bend State Park in Needville, Texas, USA. Red Buckeyes (Aesculus pavia) are beautiful bushes with red-tubular flowers in early spring. They provide an important food source for hummingbirds and bees. I also saw four juvinile Nine-banded Armadillos (Dasypus novemcinctus). This is the Texas state Small Mammal and is the only armadillo species in North America.
This video is the second episode of a three part-miniseries on camping at Brazos Bend State Park. The other two episodes are on Camouflage Camping / Riding a Trikke ( and Wetland Wildlife Observation (not yet uploaded ).
