Discover the village's nineteenth century charm, stroll through lush English gardens, and savour an afternoon Devonshire tea. On a typical day in Sassafras, you can hop from brunch to a late lunch to dinner as you're spoiled for choice of cafes, restaurants and quaint tearooms. Take Devonshire tea at Miss Marples Tearoom, an authentic English cottage inspired by Agatha Christie.
Between meals browse in the antique stores and the local specialist shops. Pick up local wine and produce at Ripe or General Food Store. Find wooden toys and handmade puppets at Geppetto's Workshop, and grab a teapot as a souvenir at Tea Leaves along with black, green and herbal teas from across the globe.

Hop from brunch to a late lunch to dinner in Sassafras's cafes and restaurants, and come back for seconds in the quaint tearooms. Take Devonshire tea at Miss Marples Tearoom, an authentic English cottage inspired by Agatha Christie.

Walking off the indulgence
Take a wander through the magical Alfred Nicholas Gardens or the nearby George Tindale Memorial Gardens and feel as though you're in another world.
Linger in nearby Sherbrooke Forest as you stroll past waterfalls and picnic grounds on the nature walk trails. Stretch the legs on a hike along the 13-kilometre Sassafras Creek Forest Trail to Emerald, taking in lush fern gullies, mosses and towering Mountain Ash.

I used the Canon C100 Mark II camera and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L II lens to do as much shooting as possible. When shooting a sports scene, I use the compact compact camera Canon M50. In restricted situations, such as business or reporting events, I use a mobile phone to shoot video. The recording equipments are all Rode cards. The main auxiliary equipment includes: monopod imprint Cobra & Cobra Strike, slide rail to product creation Micro1.

I am not picky about any tools that can draw. Commonly used tools include the watercolors of Windsor Newton and Sakura. Da Vinci brand watercolor pen. I like all watercolor papers with a brand of more than 300 grams. Considering the convenience of carrying, most of my watercolor sketch frame specifications do not exceed A4, and there are very few A3 specifications. The easel was modified with a camera device labeled Cobra & Cobra Strike.

Welcome To Olinda
Olinda is a hidden gem up in the dandenong ranges. It’s just a short 40 minute drive out of central Melbourne and is home to a variety of crafts, cafes, foods and amazing gardens.
1. National Rhododendron Garden
The area is home to the National Rhododendron Garden which makes up part of the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden. The gardens are filled with beautiful flowers, birds and a picturesque lake. If you’re lucky you’ll even get to see a Lyrebird or two at, the appropriately named, Lyrebird Valley.
The nearby arboretum, tree museum for us salt of the earth folk, is home to echidnas, tadpoles and a wide variety of trees and other plant life.
2. Sassafras
Just around the bend is the lovely little town of Sassafras. Home to the famous Miss Marple's and the terrifying Geppetto’s Workshop, a true house of horrors. Make sure you make time to drop in at The Piggery, dedicated to nature's most delicious animal, the pig.
3. Alfred Nicholas Memorial Garden
Right next door is the Alfred Nicholas memorial Garden. A spectacular garden constructed during the 1930’s on the grounds of the Burnham Beeches Mansion.
Down the hill you’ll find the boat house nestled on the banks of the gardens lovely lake. The lake is the perfect place to have a picnic, surrounded by ducks and stunning water features.
