Geto Kogen Ski Resort ( Kitakami City )
Geto Kogen Ski Resort is known for its snow quality and quantity, as well as for the long season made possible by the abundant snow. There are 14 slopes ranging from 2 to 36 degrees, with a total trail length of 14 km. Long cruising from the peak can be enjoyed even by beginners. There are 2 gondolas, 2 pair lifts, and 1 quad lift; the gondolas are operated at night as well. Skiing and snowboarding lessons approved by SAJ ( Ski Association of Japan ) and JSBA ( Japan Snowboarding Association ) are available.

Snowboarding in Japan: Geto Kogen Ski Resort
Snowboarding at Geto Kogen in northern Japan. Geto ski resort was a blast to spend the day on the slopes. We had plenty of snowboarding wrecks and snowboarding crashes. Luckily no one got hurt snowboarding on this trip! I will definetely be snowboarding again in the future whenever I get the chance. Be sure to thumbs this videos up and click subscribe.

Snowboarding at Geto Kogen Resort, Japan
Geto Kogen is located in Japan's top region for record snow cover every winter. The all-important ‘powder reset’ rate at Geto Kogen is in the top ranking of all Japan!
This was the first mountain of the season with more to come! We had a lot of fun and got a few runs in. However, after lunch our fun ended when it started to snow and then heavy rain.
A day pass will set you back ¥4900 or around $45.00. Definitely worth the price especially when you go during January when there is a lot of snow.
There are three types of accommodation by the base of the resort that range from a skiers bed similar to the capsules to actual rooms.
They also have an onsen for after you board where you can go to soak and relax after boarding, something that you should check out if you are headed here.

Ini adalah Vlog #2 dari trip kami ke Jepang ini.
Di hari kedua ini tanggal 21 April 2018, kami akan pergi ke Tenshochi Park di Kitakami, daerah Iwate Prefercture. Menurut prediksi, Sakura di Tenshochi Park hari ini adalah puncak dari prosesi bunga mekar (Full Bloom).
Kitakami berjarak sekitar 480 km dari kota Tokyo, yang artinya kami harus menggunakan kereta Tohoku Shinkansen.
Dari apartment kami akan naik Yamanote Line menuju Ueno Station, kemudian kami naik Tohoku Shinkansen dari Ueno Station.
Kemudian turun di Kitakami Station, dilanjutkan dengan jalan kaki menuju Tenshochi Park.
Tenshochi Park hanya berjarak sekitar 800 m dari Kitakami Station.
