Tree Planting Project for the Mother See
On April 21, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and with the participation of the brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzina tree planting project was inaugurated for the Mother See. The tree planting was implemented by clergy with great enthusiasm and devotion.
Lenten Meditation Service in the Mother See
On April 10, with the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, a special Lenten Meditation service titled Confession and Reconciliation was held in the Events Auditorium of the Gevorkian Theological Academy. The evening service was attended by Seminarians of the Gevorkian Seminary, members of the Youth Centers of the Armenian Church as well representatives of the Christian Youth programs and non-governmental organizations, and students of the Eurnekian High School. Many soldiers and faithful also attended.

On 25 December 2014, on the Feast of St. Stephen the Protodeacon and First Martyr, 20 students of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary and 2 acolytes from the Araratyan Pontifical Diocese and the Geghard Monastery respectively, were ordained into the Diaconate in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, by His Grace Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan, Grand Sacristan of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

Learning Our Church Hymns
The Gevorkyan Theological Seminary of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has restarted a special project for the faithful. Classes on the instruction of church hymns (sharagans) will be held in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin. The project was originally initiated by the Seminary four years ago.

Ordination of Priests in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin
On August 29, the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the Feast Day of the Discovery of the Belt of the Holy Mother of God. His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, presided over the Divine Liturgy during which 4 deacons of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin were ordained to the priesthood. The celebrant and ordaining bishop was His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukian.

Volunteer Defenders Union Day in the Mother See
On 08 May, Feast of the Second Psalm Sunday, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin on the occasion of Volunteer Defenders Union Day. At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy a Blessing of the Republic Prayer was offered by HH Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. Major of Vagharshapat, Volunteer Defenders Board members, young Volunteer Defenders, and pilgrims were in attendance.

On September 1, the famous Gospel of Sangibaran was brought to the St. Shoghakat Monastery in Vagharshapat, from the Matenadaran in Yerevan. Throughout the day pilgrims from different regions of Armenia had the opportunity to receive blessings by the Gospel.

Youth of Holy Etchmiadzin group members visit the Mother See
Recently members of newly established Youth of Holy Etchmiadzin group visited Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and were present at Holy Liturgy. After the ceremony they continued their pilgrimage to Zvartnots cathedral.
