Ggantija temples of Gozo Megalithic structures, Malta
Ggantija temples, Megalithic structures. Ancient Technology of the Giants.
Ggantija Megalithic Temple ~ Malta
The Ggantija Temples are two prehistoric temples on Gozo, the second-largest island in Malta. This site is dated to be 5,500 years old and among the oldest stone sites in the world. They are dedicated to the Great Earth Mother and recognize the heavens. It reminds me a bit of Gobekli Tepe .

Ġgantija: Megalithic Temples of Malta
Ġgantija (Giants' Tower) is a Neolithic, megalithic temple complex on the Mediterranean island of Gozo. The Ġgantija temples are the earliest of a series of megalithic temples in Malta. The Ġgantija temples are older than the pyramids of Egypt. Their makers erected the two Ġgantija temples during the Neolithic Age (c. 3600-2500 BC), which makes these temples more than 5500 years old and the world's second oldest manmade religious structures, after Göbekli Tepe. Together with other similar structures, these have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Megalithic Temples of Malta.

The temples were possibly the site of a Fertility cult; archeologists believe that the numerous figurines and statues found on site are connected with that cult. According to local Gozitan folklore, a giantess who ate nothing but broad beans and honey bore a child from a man of the common people. With the child hanging from her shoulder, built these temples and used them as places of worship.

Temple and Tomb: Prehistoric Malta, 3600 - 2500 BCE
Located between southern Italy and the northern coast of Africa, the Maltese archipelago was home to an astonishing and artistically rich prehistoric culture. During the later Temple Period (ca. 3600--2500 bce), the early Maltese constructed extraordinary megalithic complexes to house cultic and funerary rituals, and produced an outstanding range of aesthetically refined representations of the human form, the variety of which is unmatched in contemporary cultures. Temple and Tomb marks the first time that these objects have come to the United States, with the exhibition including sculptures in stone and clay, decorative architectural reliefs, and historic drawings, watercolors, and photographs. Together, they tell the story of a flourishing prehistoric culture whose architectural and aesthetic achievements remain largely unknown to an American audience.

A Brief look at Malta and Gozos ancient Megalithic Monuments and Temples, The Megalithic Temples of Malta are the oldest free-standing structures on Earth, even older than the Pyramids. Eleven prehistoric monuments, of which seven are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, were built during three distinct time periods between 5000BC and 700BC approximately. Archaeologists believe that these megalithic complexes are the result of local innovations in a process of cultural evolution. This led to the building of several temples of the Ġgantija phase (3600-3000 BC), culminating in the large Tarxien temple complex, which remained in use until 2500 BC. After this date, the temple building culture disappeared.
The Ġgantija temples (two sites) were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980. In 1992, the UNESCO Committee further extended the existing listing to include five other megalithic temple sites. These are Ħaġar Qim (in Qrendi), Mnajdra (in Qrendi), Ta' Ħaġrat Temples (in Mġarr), Skorba Temples (in Żebbiegħ) and Tarxien Temples (in Tarxien). Nowadays, the sites are managed by Heritage Malta, while ownership of the surrounding lands varies from site to site.[

Is this the WORLD'S OLDEST 'POLYGONAL' MEGALITHIC WALL? MALTA Ġgantija
This is Malta. Location: Ġgantija. This temple seems a lot like Newgrange, except in a totally ruined state of repair.
Is this Geopolymer? What do you think? Or just cut and shoved together? This civilization was so old they worship the
Ok there is something else going on with this location. Cart Ruts. These people were able to somehow modify the landscape, MELT STONE. Also to be noted is the name of the location GOZO, which relates to GIZA, where other Megalthic walls were built. And how about GAZA, near Solomon's Temple and Baalbek?

Note what Wikipedia says: These were built by Giants, possibly an early migration of the 'gingers' these huge folks who travelled the world and built all this! Then again the name could refer to Kunti:

#3 TOWERS OF GIANTS, Ggantija TEMPLE 3600BC! | MEGALITHIC ancient Malta | [GIGANTES EN MALTA]
The megalithic temple of Ggantija is the most complex buildings so far. If until now we had found in Skorba or Ta 'Hagrat small buildings (with megalithic stones) in the shape of a clover. We find ourselves with Ggantija which, to say the least, is as if they were the two previous temples at the same time. And it is that Ggantija as it happens with its two counterparts is built with huge megalithic stones under an interesting architectural precision, a construction that would require an important sum of effort (and money) in being able to carry out something like this in days like today.

Sansuna Dolmen: Alignment of the Giants in Ancient Gozo & Malta
Join Megalithomania on a one-week tour of ancient Malta and Gozo in March 2020, and witness the Equinox Sunrise at Mnajdra Temple: An exploration of the Sansuna Dolmen on the Maltese Island of Gozo that aligns with the Ggantija Megalithic Site and all the way to Buggiba Temple on Malta, forming a Winter Solstice alignment between these sites. Local folklore says that a great giantess Sansuna, who lived on a diet of broad beans and honey (or sometimes water) , constructed Sansuna Dolmen and Ggantija temple in a single day carrying the megaliths on her head as she carried her baby under her arm - following a straight path between these sites. Another version says she bore a child from a man of the common people. With the child hanging from her shoulder, built these temples and used them as places of worship. The Dolmen aligns with the Ggantija Megalithic Site and all the way to Buggiba Temple on Malta that could also be a 'ley-line. See video on Ggantija Temple here:
